3rd place
Saginaw Post Office by stylo

susanlynn: It does look like a castle - very beautiful in this night shot. Is this your entry for the contest - it would be a very good one.

icedancer: Wowsie stylo, this is outstanding. Congratulations on this coming in 3rd, Bravo. Love that fantastic moon and the roof tops, making this a wonderful shot for the DT for the upcoming holiday/Halloween. Right into my favs

4th place
A Snowy Night In Northern Ontario by icedancer

Pistos: I love this! It contains several elements that "say" winter in it, yet is simple and elegant.

Constance52347: A little startling, since it is close to 90 degrees here...but this is a wonderful winter image containing all the best elements of that season. The wintry night sky, the snow-capped lamps, and festive feel all add to making this a great image!

5th place
Ocean Life by Mannie3

bfrank: Congratulations for your 5th place!

Flmngseabass: Congratulations Richard on this wonderful contest entry. Great water/landscape/sky/nighttime image:):):) A well deserved placing:)!!

Constance52347: Congratulations on placing!!!!

Nikoneer: Well it might be a touch fuzzy but, heck, for a low-light hand-held, you did a heckuva job, Richard. As has already been said, those bright colors and their reflections make the shot work. The aquarium, moon and the moon's reflection create a nice triangular diagonal, a traditional and strong element. The pano also accentuates the shape of the structure nicely. It wasn't until I enlarged it and started looking around that I spotted the gondolas swinging about the pier (?) on the left. Nice entry and good luck in the contest.
