These are the remains of my teapot flowers of a few days ago. They have been relegated to a smaller home. The milk jug belonged to my mother in law, and has sat in my cupboard for many years, rarely used. Today I looked at its base and discovered it is a Clarice Cliff jug, so it belatedly gets a little more respect :)

Lyn, Clarice Cliff was unknown to me. Because of my curiosity (😁) I was searching the net to know more about the by her created pottery and have found THIS.
Your action makes me do conclude that you gave the remains of your teapot flowers now a more suitable, but respectful place.
It has resulted anyhow in a very fine Foofy Friday (F²) contribution.

As an antique dealer my late husband and I sold a couple of Clarice Cliff biscuit jars - one for $250.00 - I'm sure this is quite valuable Lyn - the flowers look lovely in it.

I would give the jug a whole bunch of respect, being a Clarice Cliff piece. I wonder if your mother‐in‐law left you any other collector's pieces! ;)
