gonedigital: I've just been looking through the competition entries for a "Road Less Travelled" & though I'm tired of looking at winter snow scenes yours is an exception Doug. Two things that sets it apart is the bluish background, & it's rustic charm.

I'd be very surprised if this wasn't a winning entry.

Our OB1 said the very true words about all being a fun between friends. Contest is a fun but in your case and in case of this jewel it becomes an artistic treat - all in the friendliest mood.

mesmerized: Beautiful colors, dramatic sky, and a road through a quiet countryside that seems to go downhill and around a bend to who knows where...great entry...good luck.

mesmerized: Well, my 'impression' is it's a real beauty, Eugene, the colors, the wet pavement, the reflection of the cyclists, the street lamps...every bit as good as any impressionism I've seen before...straight to my favorites.
