Nikoneer: Absolutely this qualifies as photo-journalism, Solly, showing the modern equipment a police officer uses. I have an adopted son who has been a deputy county sheriff for nearly 20 years, a brother-in-law who was a police sergeant for 32 years, and then the county sheriff for 4 years before retiring, and I used to be a fireman who worked daily with police as a first responder. And while I commend this woman for her willingness to put her safety on the line for others, I have to wonder how well she can chase down a perp. Being heavy is not healthy, particularly in a job as physical as a police officer's can often be, but perhaps her system is so well in tune that it's not an issue. Regardless, this is a very good candid capture and I'm sure will be arresting (sorry... couldn't help it) to the judges.

The depicted ram shows two faces. On the one hand there are his fearsome horns. On the other hand, the look in his eyes is very friendly.
