colocolor: Congratulations on winning the dof contest...Well deserved! Great shot - just makes me cold and nervous. Helllllp, I'm falling... All kidding aside, I love the way you captured the natural tones of the snow and ice and lost no detail. Snow is so difficult to get detail because of the specular highlights. The angle gives a great leading quality that takes you right from the foreground to the cloud-covered distant peak. Just a fabulous capture. anne :-)

solita17: Lovely image, Stephanie... It really touches my heart. When I was in high school... a 'few' years ago... I had dance lessons, first ballroom, then musical comedy dance. I LOVED it! I felt so alive and joyful when I was dancing, especially at the year's-end recitals which ran for two weekends. Dancing really helped me through those years. So thanks for reminding me. ;-)
