Eubeen: A nice perspective in your photo and good composition of the scene. I like the moss covered rocks and the way the shadows create shapes in them. I might have been tempted to tone down the lighting on either side. Best of luck in the contest.

Tootles: I like it too; the lava below adds drama. And I was wondering exactly how you made the shape of that ring! I think mine is a flattened torus, but yours has a sharp line round the centre, which gives it a more ring-like look. I can think of a way I could do it, but it didn't occur to me (I wish it had).
