1st place mesmerized: Hi Jerry, long time no see...welcome back...and what a beauty you've brought along...wonderful rich color and texture all under that dark brooding sky...should you feel so inclined, this would make a great entry in the current Rustic contest.

2nd place Homtail: Aaaaaaaaah ok i see :) Ive had to scoll through these a few times to be able to discern the differences between them! the third is defintely an improvement on the first. Although i liked the contrast of the first, the darkening down of the wood has definitely allowed the attention of the view to be more focused on your lovely seed sower. I still like how you have picked out the orange colour however i also really liked the colour version! I didnt notice that you had gotten rid of the wood altogether (very good cloning out by the way!) but i liked the way the colour range seems to progress from cool blue to warm orange. Obviously this is wonderful subject matter as having seen all three images i am not bored yet! Nice work :)

3rd place cynlee: Looks like a beautiful drawing, EJ. Is seven exposures the way HDR is done these days?
corngrowth: E. J. Most people uses brushes, paint and other goods to create a painting, but with this artwork you have proven that it can be done otherwise as well.
Splendid work!
Regards, Cornelius.

Marzena: Both rustic and basic as you said "simple life".
For me this is #1.
