3rd place
ryzst: Thank you, everyone. I'm happy you liked the shot.
Shooting bees, for me, has become almost as obsessive as other photographers who shoot birds and only birds.
ekowalska: Great close up shot with amazing details. The colors and contrast are great. Good luck in the contest.
4th place tib: I remember when I was young and thought these little bugs were so wonderful. Now they are all over my house in droves! Sometimes I would swear I've even been bitten by a few! I like this shot Wendell, most of us wouldn't think of shooting a ladybug on our desk lamp. Great detail on the bug and I really like the bright light and the darkness in the background.
5th place
CDHale: Thank you all!
