mesmerized: Absolutely would be a good entry...grains, seeds, nuts, make for great textures...the idea just above me is also a good thought, adding something else with a different texture to show the contrast...good luck in the contest.

mesmerized: Don't want to confuse you, Lin, but I like this one even more as a contest entry...sharper, more depth, and the texture of both bark and 'shrooms.
