Its all photoshop 7. In the corner you can simply paint dots or stars and then with a radial or motion blur, blur it. Then use your blur tool and set its blend mode to lighten and blur it just a bit more but only where you want it to be brighter, such as in the corner.
Thanks for commenting on Jeweled Dragon...I'm just one big blur at heart, I'm afraid. :D My watercolors had the same (what I call "mystical") look to them back when I could still do any real painting.
Thanks for the comment on "firey coral" unfortunately the shot was taken at a depth of about 8 feet under water so this is about as clear as it gets you can try an unsharp mask in photo shop if you have it but I have already done this to try & sharpen it and I think any more will make it look blotchy .Hope you enjoy it anyway!!
Thanks again.
Devon.
thanks for your constructive criticizm on dragonfly environment, I think you may have been directed there because of my old signature perhaps. I posted this on gabi's image:
"well, its a macro shot, I think it would be impossible to capture the background and foreground. Unless you used an unrealistic large depth of field, or tried to merge 2 images somehow. But if you were able to see the water, I think the attention would be taken from the dragonfly itself. "
Thanks for your comment on "Bearded Dragon". As I am trying to protect my images from being pinched I am putting my logo or address on all my images now, sorry. I tried to make it blend in but maybe I didn't succeed there...
Thanks for your post on "Proverbs 3:5" sorry it took so long to respond to it, My pastor helps run the 3rd largest Bible Museum in the world and he runs across this stuff alot :)
Thanks for your kind words! Red rock on the move was a great shot. The zoom was all the way up to 10X optical and 3X digital, but I could have gone up to 20X by 15X. The time frame was the 24 th to the 30th of december. What do you think is up with all of the natural disasters? Earth quakes, tsunamis, mud slides, flooding, and California has more snow than we do in Minnesota? Weird, and the earthquake in India disrupted the core of the earth enough to set off a bunck of other earthquakes, and change the rotation of the earth it self! Is it God, or is it us mistreating the earth? And just to let you know I am not a tree hugger or natural activist, but my last comment might make me sound like a prude, but we could be causing these disasters!
Hey there, how are you doing?
Thanks for the great words on; 'Multiplication Edit' I'm glad you like it that much, and
it's a honour to be on your desktop! Next to that, thanks for the great high vote.. I'm
really glad, It's really appreciated as you know probable.
Thanks for the comment on Ongoing... Blur filter? Sorry...that's the only image I've got. I tried to sharpen it up, but it gets too rough, and smoothing the roughness out ruins the image completely.
Glad you could use 'camaro''. I started to take it out myself, but I figured I could get both camps on that one, personally I think you made the right choice.
thank you so much for your kind words on my self portrait. and by all means come move up to Canada! Ill be the first to give you the grand tour... hehehe :)
Thanks a lot for the comment on "Cloud Zero" - it's greatly appreciated. (I doubt I'll re-upload this image with a different gradient, although I do appreciate your opinion.)
thanks for your comments on lady of the Northern bay. I am going to put in in a higher res. althuogh I have tried with these things in the past. Sadley with my monitor being as it is, it doesn't always look as I am picturing. However I mustn't be selfish lol. I will concider thoughs with better monitors than myself.
I put tags on my images for a reason, to protect my property. You should read the Vigilante Justice threads if you don't know what I am referring to. I am rather sensitive about this issue having had several of my images posted on other sites without crediting my work, some of them even offering them for sale, and after reading your comment this morning I am seriously considering removing all of my images from caedes.
Thanks for your comment to one of my Switzerland pictures.
Since i also have a site, where i sell images, i can not post them here for free.
Lots is invested in taking such shots, sometime a little payback can come in handy for a next trip.
Therefore, i will never post a picture without a stamp, regarding low voting i do not see your point at all.
What is asked is to judge a image, and not a stamp, and we must not forget that this is a desktop / wallpaper site, if you had looked closer, you could have seen that the stamp is situated on a place wich will fall behind the windows taskbar.
All in all, i think it is not so bad.
But, thank you again for your reply, they are always most welcome.
Best regards,
Thanks a lot for your comment on my Camellia. I decided to leave the background "natural", because it was reminding me of the beautiful colorfulness of the garden.
