Hey Les, I am just getting use to this site, so if I'm a little slow responding overlook a rookie mistake. A man that would spend half a lifetime on something that he believed in so much is incredible. Your image did him justice. Kat
Your art is really intresting you go for more than just one theme which is great that your versitile . I can't wait to see your revision probably another great way to persieve a picture ! I am glad that my comments can encourage you and hope to see much more marvolous works of your. Jewel.

Hi Les, Thank you for your comments on 'playful colors', I'm really taken that you like it so much, at least up to here. And yep I'm sure that I'm 16 though I have to really think to remember how old I am. I always think that I'm only 15 haha:D

Thanks Les..... for take time to see my picture" Walking on the line". You find also a good name.
It was comical, two chickens runs on the railling. It was a moment.

Thanks for your comments on "Flamming Staff". I was using a point-and-shoot digital camera for this image, so the length of time the shutter stayed open was based on luck. I may try again so I can get a "complete" movement, because it creates a beautiful flower pattern. - cheers, kim

Hi Les, many thanks for looking at 'Bee-utiful' and posting a lovely comment. I was very lucky that morning to catch that blue sky, as it clouded over after lunch...and stayed overcast for the rest of the week. (Typical English weather I might add.) I've had a peep in to your gallery...WOW...I love your collection of sunrise/sunset shots. Thanks again...Jacquie.
Hi Les, just to curb your curiosity...500 years is not my physical age, but my ' how I'm feeling' age. No secrets to immortality, I'm afraid. Take care...Jacquie.

Hellooo Les. Thanks for commenting on my "Southwest." I hope your flight goes/went well. Hope to catch you around this website more often ;)
Cheers,

Les thank you for your comment on "fashioned from trees", and it really is fashioned from trees. I took a snap of some bare branches treated it with brush stoke effect and then used a mirror effect "snow fake" I think it was called. Then I stuck a magnifying looking glass in the middle and tried to give it the appearance of a pearl. Thank you for your interest and giving me the oppertunity to reveal its true content, very flattering.
Gareth
Thanks Les for your comment on 'Flash'. I checked both your light/movement shots(electra whispering and travel at the speed of neon light). I really liked them both, never knew that that was even possible. Thank you =)
Hello and thanks for your comment on 'Easter at Caedes' - this Easter/Energizer bunny certainly has lots of wallpapering plans. Point out a shed to clean, though, and I run hard the other way...

"There are no rules and regulations for perfect composition. If there were we would be able to put all the information into a computer and would come out with a masterpiece. We know that's impossible. You have to compose by the seat of your pants." -Arnold Newman
Thank you for your kind words on my 'Orange Fire Rose'. I wish I could do photo editing... I really dont have the right programs for it! But thanks again for the good advice!

Thank you for the comment on my "Shot at Point-blank". What you said strikes at the core of my creative source of inspiration. Finding the abstract in the reality surrounding us through obtaining a new angle on the subject at hand. Literally as well as figuratively speaking I guess.
"I decided that it was not wisdom that enabled [poets] to write their poetry, but a kind of instinct or inspiration, such as you find in seers and prophets who deliver all their sublime messages without knowing in the least what they mean."

Well, there's always another time to visit Lake McKenzie. If you do get out there again, I highly recommend it, though it's only accessible by 4x4 and can get quite busy at peak times, but with a view like this, you can understand why!
Hi, thank you very much for commenting on 'Chatsworth gardens'. I appreciate both your kind words and criticism. You are right about that man. But would you believe that I didn't notice him uniti after I posted the picture? I concentrated on the sky and that tiny little figure simply didn't catch my eye.
Aloha les and thank you for your visit to 'Waialoha'. There is so many people comming to Hawaii that it's almost imposible to take a photo without people or cars in them. I am new with editing photos and will have to leave that up to the persons who download it...for now. I appreciate your visit. Please come again.
Hi Les,
thanks for leaving a comment on my cities edge shot... i hadnt even noticed the fox shape in the clouds lol.. i guess i was concentrating too much on my levels, framing, etc.. but now that you pointed it out i see it clearly.. very cool.

Hello Les, thanks for your comment to one of my postings. (Schönbrunn) Indeed your translation is correct schön means beautifull and a brunn is a fountain.
"To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
