Thanks Erin. I appreciate your comment on Fruit Flavored Chewies. Your right, I'm so bad. I love the vivid colors and thought it would be a colorful DT. Terry

Hi Erin, thanks for the nice comments on Morning Sky. I often call these clouds popcorn clouds, too, though I also call them my mother's clouds because they're the kinds of clouds she often painted.
Several of my photos are available for purchase in larger format at Shutterpoint, and some are also available in high quality framed prints at http://djholmes.imagekind.com/

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Hi again Erin - thank you for stopping by '11-11'! Took it from the stern rail of a moving launch so not one of my best, probably should have taken one a little sooner - closer - to the Memorial. Thanks again!

Thanks, Erin, for the kind compliment on the Desert Botanical Garden shots. It's a lovely place. I think I must have taken 200 photos in the few hours I was there. Merry Christmas!
Thanks , Erin, for your kind comments on "Perch Rock Lighthouse".
I was so lucky when I went down there the other day, just as I came to take the picture the setting sun came out from behind a cloud and perfectly lit the lighthouse.
Erin, thanks so much for your comment on 'The way in'. The soft yet crisp quality is down to applying different levels of sharpening to different parts of the image....my special recipe!

Thanks Erin for commenting on my picture “Red Dragon II” It’s hard to get close enough to use the 180mm lens but when you do the pics turn out pretty good. A 300mm lens is a much easier shoot.
