Thanks Ashley for the comments and support on my picture “Red Wing Butterfly” The bright red markings on the wings are what attracted me to photograph this one.
Many thanks for your comments about “Sandy Turbulence” Ashley. I actually went out to photograph the sunrise that morning but found the water to be more attractive :-)
It’s me again Ashley. I found the “Splendid Mushroom” in the Watagan Mountains on the east coast of Australia. I’m glad you like it. I have searched many times since but I haven’t been able to find another one like it.
Thanks for commenting on "Gold Rain 2"....always much appreciated! All the fireworks were part of the one shot, not duplicated...what you see is what you get!!
Hey, thanks for your comment on my fireworks shot. I was shooting with a nikon D70, with the 18-70mm kit lens. I don't have the original file on my computer right now (its hidding on a disk some place) so i can't check to see the exact f/stop., but i think for that one i was using a fairly wide open one. Probably something like f/5 or so. I have done more fireworks since then and found that closing it up a bit more often works a little bit better.
Hey, thanks a lot for commenting on "Flowers", I'm so glad you enjoyed it! :)
I'm not sure about name of those flowers, but I think it might be some kind of carnation. Or "Sweet William", anyway, it comes in many shades of colors.
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

Hey Ashley...thanks for commenting on "Valley of Desolation 4"...very much appreciated. But, its actually not a rock!! It was taken from a cliff's edge. The veins you might be talking about are actually some sulfur springs and streams....but the beauty of pictures is that everyone sees something different and people can get different feelings from the same image. Thanks so much for having a look!!!
Thank you for commenting on 'Look Ma No Head'. The image is a bit blurry and I wish I could remedy that but I do not have good skills with my parents digital yet.

Hello Ashley. Thank you for your comments about “Crescent Head”. The coast of NSW is New South Wales. It’s on the East Coast of Australia. It was magnificent up there with birds soaring overhead and whales cavorting beneath us :-)
