Joshua Tree posts.- Glad you liked them, Sarah Didn't have anything new and was playing around in my last trip, files.
It's a great park, and never pass it up on a California trip.
Enjoyed your gallery very much. Even had to download Beartooth and play with it. I've been across there, and then down to Cooke City, and Yellowstone.
I cleaned up the sky in that shot. Not the best job, but it looks pretty good.
Great title, too. I have most of Lightfoots music.
I have a shot in my gallery, like that. Different scenery, in Texas. Think I called it something about Traffic( cuz there wasn't any)
Keep up the good work. You're doing great.
Doug.
I love the seagul picture myself. He was so funny. Everytime I lifted my camera, he turned and looked at me and held his pose. I'm glad you stopped in and commented on my picture. You have some great pictures yourself. I liked them all.
Hi Sarah, and belated thanks for your kind words on "Family outing" and "Rainbows" - I'm way behind with my thankyous but that doesn't mean your comments weren't warmly welcomed :-)
Hi Sarah, many thanks for viewing "A Painted View"! I am very glad you liked my editing! It was a gamble for sure, but fun just the same! I am just learning to use these enhancement programs so I will be perhaps a little slow at good deliveries! LOL! I am always appreciative for those people who have ideas to share that I might find helpful! I am looking forward to your next visit, as I would enjoy that! Sincerely, Marilyn
Hello sarah thanks for commenting on my "Ladbroke grove", I achieved the effect by using posterization three times and black & white option about three times as well and then just sharpening the image, thanks for taking an interest in it, and sorry it's taken so long to reply.
Backyard Critter was a bug that I spotted in my apple tree in the back yard. No special setup just a telephoto macro with a fill flash. Thanks Sarah for the nice comment.

Hello Sarah. Many thanks for your comments about “The Flying Lesson”. I really enjoy watching the Egrets in the rookery, they squabble like badly behaved school kids :-)

Hello, Sarah - thank you so much for your thoughts on "Black Beauty" - I really appreciate it. 14 and a Beatles fan? That's rare and shows that you have impeccable taste in music!
Thanks Sarah for your comments on the picture “Tree Hugger” I almost passed on even trying to take this picture. The shooting angle was bad causing the squirrel to be back lit and a slow shutter speed.
Thanks so much Sarah. I didn't think you would know that song from America. I was around when it came out LOL. I really appreciate your comment at "Sand Box"- Eileen
The Road to Gila Bend - I thought about calling it Bus Stop!,but a little too late, and it was just North of Gila Bend. Thanks for stopping by,Sarah.
Glad you enjoyed this, and that dangerous Cholla.
Thankyou Sarah, for visiting my alligator in "He's Right Beside You.". I did indeed allow him to get too close because I wasn't paying attention. I was photographing some marsh hens. Nice to meet you and hope I hear from you often.

Thank you, Sarah, for your nice comment on "Golden Field". I am glad that you liked my concept with the rearview mirror there, I also find it more interesting than my other image "Golden Field II", which is more soothing to watch.
Thank you once again and come back any time to visit my gallery...

Jai House Rock - I'm certainly having a fun time with the filters. It'll be nice when I can find the ones I've used, when I want them again.

Hi Sarah. Thank you very much for commenting on my picture of Big Ben. I had really good fun trying to get the best frame for him. I waited only as long as necessary to get the best dusky light to take the shot. Your words were warmy received. Thanks, Iain.
Hi Sarah, thanks for your lovely comment on "my old guitar", it's hard to learn I know but hold on cause it's worth it(lol), have a great day and all the best to you !!
Howdy from Arizona! Glad you took time to look at and comment on "Near ..."; was playing with a new macro lens and tripod and got this one. Your gallery (some good stuff in there!) and 'favorites' have a lot of animals - so do mine! Thanks, Sarah!
Thank you kindly Sarah - re my Colourful Soup photo! It was my way of showing off lovely colours without cutting down the blooms. I had a couple of bowls around the house like this. They didn't last more than a few days - but as you say, they were pretty! Thanks for dropping in! Kate
