Dear Bernd,
This is so nice of you to pay me such compliments !!! Thank you, but I am still learning - got my first camera 11 August this year. Blushing with modesty ... LOL Take care, friend.

Thank you for your comment on 'Leading Onward', I'm really glad you liked it! That is a really neat bridge, eventually leading you over the river and gives you an awesome view.
For your really nice comment on 'Upon The Prodigious Bridge', I thank you! That one is one of my favorites...I really appreciate you taking the time to comment on it!
Danke so sehr vuer deine woerter...ich mache Deutsch sprechen aber es ist langsam! Thank you so much...for writing in German about my photo...and for such nice things you said..about the sunday landscape...where I live look similar to where youi live? thats wonderful! I dont live in this countryside, but closer to the city of Portland, but we are trying to sell our home and move to this lovely area....will be nice and peaceful....
Thank you very mush for your comment on my "cemetery" picture. That cemetery is very close to where I live and it's very nice to walk around in it. Esspecially now in the fall colours.
thank you for the comment on :this is what it is to be alone:, i think i may go down this weekend, when i am home from college and take some more pictures, when its daylight of course :)
you know those beach restaurant are like a circus on the road: they drive some poles into the ground and off load the superstructure from...trailers.
The only difference is that the poles remain in the ground awaiting next years season.
And concerning your reference to the autobahn, I guess many Dutch guys are well equipped, and so is their ego. They don't have to compensate by buying the biggest, pumped up car available, as I see so many in Germany.
Consequence is of course that a big ego and a small car don't go together very well on the autobahn.... ha, ha, (hope you don't mind my inner fun).
Hey, nice to read your comments!
Mfg,
Paul

Dear Bernie,

Hello Bernd,
Thanks for your comment on my Dolphins. I understand the confusion, but our English dictionary translated the word 'dukdalf' (Dutch for landing-stage) into Dolphin. I think I am going to change the name.
Hello Bernd, I really appreciated you stopping by to view "A Lovely Rose"! You left happy thoughts with me and I hope you visit again! Sincerely, Marilyn

Hey there Bernd,
Thanks for the feedback on "Wasago Frens, glad you took the time to drop a comment. I have to wonder where the red is in this picture. This is the way it was that day. The photo has no manipulation done to it at all, it is true to the colour that day. But hey, this is good that it evokes ones sences enough to leave a comment.........John
about that beach art shot....when I cleaned up my car and dumped that mess on that beach I was feeling kind of guilty....so I put that junk together and stamped it "ART".
That way everybody is happy.
What Cheer Bernd.....Many kind regards for your comments to my picture 'Dandelion Clock'.... I notice you have a photo of a dog 'Border Collie'! is it your pet!!!!!
I have one just like it. ....Brilliant Intelligent Animals.......

Bernie,
Thank you so much for the encouraging comment on my unfortunate lime tree ... Unfortunate because the first one was completely blurred but beautiful and this one is less blurry but lost some of the beauty of the original too ... Never happy with my pictures ... LOL

Hi Bernd, thanks for your comment about my "Krasse" picture. Glad you liked it. I planted these flowers in the spring and they came up really nice. The rocks was our place to play, when we kids were small and the birch tree is very old and big. / HJ.
Thank you for yur positive feedback on the "under the bridge". I am glad you found it interesting and I really appreciate your comment. I would like to strongly encourage you to visit my other works. Perhaps you will find something of interest.

Bernd, thanks for commenting on "Control". As for what it is, I don't really know, but I do kow it had something to do with coffee beans. If you look carefully, you can see a few in there.
Wow ! Thanks for the nice words on " Cadillac Memories ". It means so much to know you liked it. As for your question, no, there was no photographic basis for that image at all. It was composed entirely in Apophysis, & finished in PhotoShop. I was actually trying to get a spiral image like MoeAction & Razorjack do so well, & that popped up. And I really loved those smooth lines.
Hello Bernd! Thank you so much for the nice comment on "Sifnos". I love taking pictures of the islands! I hope that you'll decide to come one day and I'll be very happy to give you any travel information you might need! I hope your mother had a nice time here, Santorini is my personal favorite! thanks again for the nice words, have a great day ~> Maria
A chainsaw would be useful I agree. It was very hard to reach this magical place you visisted in "abundance of colour". I had to break through the shrubbery and combat with the bushes, lol. So thank you for your appreciative words.
Hey Bernd, thank you for taking the time to look at my gallery and comment on my pictures. I can tell you how much I appreciate it, means a lot to me! And I'm glad that you like my work, I am only a beginner but I do my best and caedes.net and encouraging comments like yours really help me. Thank you so much.
P.S.: You are right about that small piece of grass on the upper left corner on "Asterias", I should have cloned it away before uploading the image!
Much appreciation, Bernd, for the kind remarks on 'Welcome Old Friend', it really was a nice spot to just sit for a bit and enjoy the day. Anyhoo, I thank you very much!
Hey Bernd ..thanks for your comment on Leaf on Water 3. It's sometimes interesting what you can make out of an otherwise simple image. Glad you enjoyed it and took the time to comment.

you can find the tools on the regular photoshop CS edition, Im sure Elements has it as well. The only one that Im not sure you might have its "color replace". Although, is a basic tool so Im kind of sure you have it. I wish I could send you a screen shot so you can se were it is exactly is located. do you also have a mac? I could E-mail to you if you wanted. Again thank you!
Hi Bernd, many thanks for viewing "A Basket of Color"! So glad you liked it and sure did appreciate your comments! Please stop by for another visit, I would like that! Sincerely, Marilyn
And as for "Illuminate", the manipulation only worked if I threw the spider out the window. If you want to see the normal picture, you can see the spider, but the picture isn't nearly as moving (for example, it is light out). Do you want me to email it?
Are you ready to go to heaven?
Ephesians 2: 8 & 9 says, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Think about it... Why did Jesus have to die on the cross if all it took was good works to get to heaven?
Thanks for commenting on Brand New Carpet. I could live with the little tree, but I just noticed quite a few similar and frankly superior new images posted today so I decided to delete mine. Also, I was still enchanted with the experience of being in the woods today when I uploaded this, and after another look have decided that image didn't quite convey the feeling.
Thank you for viewing my Little Red Mountain image.I am happy that you also took the time to leave a comment. I am thrilled that you enjoyed the small history about the area. I am always fearful that I am boring some of my viewers. Please look at some of my other images when you find the time.
