Hello Pita,
Thank you for complimenting my Kiss The Morning photo. Welcome to Caedes, there are many beautiful images here and many very gifted artists. I hope you find much to enrich you here. :)
Peace,
Mikel.
Pita, thanks for looking at le sentinelle. I like to have many lines-of-sight in my pictures, even the simpler ones. This is why I left the paths visible. ~ John
Yes I know Pita. I tried to correct but didn't have the skills. My camera is not the best and neither are my editing skills. Thanks for commenting on Who scared the ducks.
Thanks Pita, I used B/W except for hat and vest which I wanted to show because of my feeling on that law. My friend Frog is very colorful so I thought it was just that I had him in color also. Thanks for you comments, always welcome.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting on Gotham Lights, it's greatly appreciated! I shot this from the observation deck of the Empire State building (forgot to mention in the image description...edited now).

Thanks again for the comments on Gotham Lights! I think I got the Cartier-Bresson quote from www.photoquotes.com...there are tonnes of photography related quotes there (as one might suspect)...some are pretty good

Thanks again Pita, I feel honored. Glad you liked Day's work is done. I have a weekly column in newspaper (very small newspaper). That's about it. I do enjoy writing however.
Pita, thank you for commenting on Leaning Into The Sun. I have always wanted to be a painter but, alas, I am not. Your comment about the poetry of the shot hit home, for I do look for poetry in nature. You have been the first to ever mention seeing it in my shots and I appreciate your sensitivety to what I am trying to achieve. ~ John
Thank you for your comments on 'black sands' I'm glad that you like it. I won't use color enhancemnts in my photos that have more than 20% skies. They get to 'pixilated'. I play only with the lighting. Thanks a million for your support.
Thanks Pita, I appreciate you..."getting" the picture. "In a Raindrop".
I wish I could do it in more detail....it was just an afternoon shot, of a raindrop on a leaf...Not a praticularly great shot either. I just tried to make something out of it with a "thought" I had. I was just playin.
I hope you really saw...the Sun and the 2 planets...in the Raindrop.
