Cherry Blossoms Walkway is a tree lined walkway that is about 4 city blocks long and runs down the center of 3rd St. in Macon, Georgia. It is a focal point for the annual Cherry Blossom Festival, however this year they bloomed late. Thanks Kal for your nice comments on this image.

Sorry I have not been around much, but I have been traveling and extremely busy at work and home. This should be reduced a bit by June, when I hope to get back to Caedes more often....Mike

Thanks Kal for the post on Sea Meets Sky. It really hard to get a sense of perpective on that shot - for instance the mountains on the right are over 4000 feet high and I was much higher than that when I took the shot - the ocean is literally miles away but looks like its just at the bottom of the hill :-)

Thank you very much for the compliments, I'm honored to recieve such high marks.. I stitched it by hand... even my favorite program (ptassembler) couldn't do a decent job on it :( It took quite a few hours if not half a day to get it how I wanted it.. though I'm still thinking I could have done a better job perhaps when time permits I'll revisit it and see if I can do anything better :) Thanks again :)

thanks for the post on 5 Green Bottles - I was considering something along the lines of Corporate Whores incorporating Starbucks, Maccie D's etc but ultimately felt it a little too heavy for the nature of the contest. Like them or not Coke is THE brand icon when it comes to public awareness and it fit right into the contest brief....
