There's an old saying in Tennessee -- I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee -- that says, fool me once, shame on -- shame on you. Fool me -- you can't get fooled again.
Many thanks for your comment on There, Just Beyond the Lamppost!. Yes, i actually did intend for it to be sort of like Narnia, I'm such a fan of the books and the movie that recently came out was quite good. Anyway, thanks!
And why are you anxious about what to wear? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin. And yet I say to you, that even Solomon in all his glory is not arrayed like one of these.

Thanks Scott for your "wow" on A Ghostly Light Near Newcastle, my entry in the latest contest. I´m glad you liked my version of Dunstickin´s great landscape shot.

Hi Scott. Thanks so much for your kind post on 'The balcony', I really appreciate it and am glad you like it!...certainly the picture was taken in the north coast of Spain
My You looking at me photo was taken on a foot bridge crossing a dam on a lake in North Georgia. This Bold Jumping Spider was very agressive towards the camera when I moved close to take a photo. Thanks Scott for the nice comments.

Big Bang Boom is a composite image of six long exposures taken at the Perry, Ga Fairground. Thanks Scott for taking the time to view and comment on this image. This was my first attempt at photographing fireworks using a digital camera.

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Hello Scott. I appreciate your comments on "Girders". I'm glad you enjoyed my picture. Those supports hold up a bridge about a mile long. I could not shoot any farther than the first concrete pillar straight on.

I could wile away the hours
Conferrin' with the flowers
Consultin' with the rain
And my head I'd be scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain
Hello Scott....Thankyou for taking the time to have a look at (HIGHLANDS) and for your comments...they are very much appreciated.....I don't have to tell you how beautiful the scenery is in Scotland...What part did you visit?.....All the best Mick.
Hi Scott,
Thanks for taking a look at my "Tiger...." and for your nice comments. He is a regal and magnificent creature, but not on my list of possible backyard pets! LOL
I have no idea what caused it. I might throw a guess out there that something fell beside it or something that is no longer there was built there and it had to grow around it, but other than that i don't know. I can't see it being to natural. It would be suprising for something like that to just randomly happen near where they have the path i guess.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.
