I'm way behind so forgive me for not commening on your individual posts but know that I've looked at all of them since I left. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
Thanks for the comments on 'Gold Dragon', and yeah, it is hard work to get noticed on here. We'll just have to come up with something mind blowing lol!
Thank you so much for your kind comments on Solar Sails ! It's so nice when someone takes the time to look at your entire gallery, and not just the first couple pages. I really appreciated that.
Lauren
thanks alot for your comment on my pic 'an early evening swim' that wasn't "just another picture of a duck"...i had a good laugh at that, so thanks times two.
Rob
Hi! What a pleasant surprise to see you stopped to visit *Al Gator*. He hasn't had many visitors in awhile, so it was good to see you :) I appreciate your nice comments & I'm glad you liked the image - yes, I cut way down on the saturation. Stop by again...your friend, Carolyn
Hey, thanks for the suggestion (and please make more)(and I won't mind critics as well). I'll try to do better next time for sure! And cool gallery you have there, by the way!

Hey Cam, thanks for stopping in to check out "Historical Reflections." I sincerely appreciate your thoughtful remarks. Glad you liked "Sunrise Moon as well." anne :-)
Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)

Thanks for the comments on "Olde Tyme Kakabeka Falls", as always they are greatly appreciated. You know what, I think if maybe I burn the highlights on the clouds slightly it could help out. Hard to say, have to see when I give it a try!

Heya
Many thanks for dropping by P-51D 'Janie'. I'm really glad you liked it, I wasn't quite sure about it because it hasn't got a particularly good c-index but I'm glad someone likes it.
Thanks again

Hiya, thank you so much for your comments on my bed head picture. You didnt sound too critical at all, I welcome any advice given. As you say though, I did use the wrong angle and may go back and try another angle. You can walk around the room freely and touch the objects there, so I cant blame that lolol. Again thank you for taking the time to both look at the picture and offer your advice, its appreciated. Jo
Thank you a lot for commenting "Secrecy" :) Maybe the nicest thing ever said about my works ^_^ I think I have a certain style and have seen that it varies quite a bit from the ones of normal caedesians. Maybe it's just that I'm quite young and the old geezers are not interested in making that kind of things.
Hello, thanks a million for your nice words on Lights! . I blurred the image a little bit on purpose to remove some grain, glad u noticed and think it looks better this way. I appreciate your comment a lot, njoy your day

Thanks for commenting "ablaze". Don't you talk about wizardry :D That was just some basic tricks that create the messy look and the spiced it with some a bit more advanced colourchangestricks which are quite common too. I was just playing around and experimenting with different effects and stuff.. Only thing needed to attain those looks are to spend a little time with the program and especially helpful is to toy with it and not to settle with the most basic stuff. Sometimes I end up with interesting stuff.

Thanks for checking out "Beacon in the Darkness" as well. Nope, that's not zoomed in at all. I got my delivery today, everything made it alright.

Thanks for commenting "the island". Sometimes I don't have enough time (or skill..) to find the most interesting things but I try my best to get everything out the photos I have.
Thanks for the comments on Lampy In The Sky With Diamonds! Yeah, I was getting a little bit of photographers block and someone (third_eye I think) mentioned that I should break things down into textures, shapes, etc. Went on a photo expedition downtown yesterday (main goal was to make it to Photo World, but they didn't have what I was looking for) to take pictures of various things.

Finally :-) It is indeed mirrored, and I did indeed remove people, entire buildings, chimneys, icicles, clouds, but left the queer light fixture as a big hint. It's neat you caught it. Was waiting for someone to, so that I could "come clean" on it. cheers, Quiet
Photographers are artists, magicians. They capture beauty so that it will last forever, and they might change it, make it something it is not. Thanks to photoshop!
Thanks for the comments on Spyder, they're greatly appreciated! yeah there was actually an older (mid-late 90's) black 911 convertible parked in front (also for sale).

Thanks for the comments on Spyder Chase, as always they're greatly appreciated! Yeah, it is an odd bluish/silverish color, very nice up close in person though. That's pretty sweet you saw a done up one, and then a GT40 to boot!

Hey Camerama,
Thanks for your words on "Captive."
Tried ... tried for a very illustrative look in keeping with the tale that I had wove ... storybook-like hopefully. So yeah, it was fun ... even got to do some digital painting on that piece ... pixel by pixel.
Would love to see John (aka mailsparky); the original author, take some more shots of that tree. Love that tree.
So, thanks from both of us. And no worries about getting back ... when time permits ... that's good enough for me. :o)
Thanks for stopping by and commenting on Where Does The Wind Go?, it's greatly appreciated! It was actually really hard to take a picture of. It kept turning away from me!

Yeah Rippled is a puddle alright! It looked to be a low spot that had a clogged storm drain. Well perhaps it wasn't a puddle, but more a small lake. It was several meters across in each direction!

Thanks commenting on "Warbling". I read somewhere (I really am not a bird specialist) that chickadees live in America and their cousins tits are common here in Europe so maybe these tits here doesn't know know how to sing in chickadeeway :P Here in Finland we say they sing like "ti-ti-tyy" but then I read that the birds have mysteriously been shortening it in the past years. Must be some kind of a slang :P
Thanks for stopping by and commenting on Blurred Vision, it's greatly appreciated! Yeah, I agree with that. The purpley (what it's a word) color is actually a white wall. But do to me not shooting with the correct white balance I had to adjust for it in photoshop and it turned the white to lavender. Oh well...will have to remember that for next time!

Hey, thanks for the comments on 1 vs 15, it's greatly appreciated! Yeah, I tweaked it in photoshop to overexpose the top of the cue ball. Before, it used to have a big shiny spot that didn't really look good. Mostly my own doing and setting up lighting (too lazy).

Hey hey, thanks for the comments on Cascade Amphitheatre! This was my first attempt at a RAW conversion, I must say that looking at it a couple times after I've posted it I think the mountains in the mid/background could have a tad more contrast. They seem to have lost their "punch" a bit...I've got another one that I took up there that shows all rocks (ie no grass or trees anywhere)...almost moonscapey...perhaps I'll dial up the contrast a bit on that one?
BTW where's your latest photos? ... ... ... slacker ;)

Thanks for commenting on "Fire!".
Where in France did you see them scoop up the water last year? For I took this pic last summer in Argeles sur Mer and they where scooping up the water from the mediterrean sea!

Thanks for checking out Ha Ling and commenting it's greatly appreciated! Mountaineer? I don't know about that...maybe a hikist...wannabe. The gradient effect in the sky turned out from PS. All I did was auto adjust levels, then made a deep blue photofilter and put the blending mode for that layer to mulitiply. Simple!
