Thanks for your very kind comments on "Window On The Arts". Montgomery in Mid-Wales is one of my most favourite places of all, but it wasn't being very nice that day. It was cold, wet and very windy but the gallery is wonderful and the tea-shops and pubs are great!!

You wrote: The only thing that I'm not crazy about (this is me being anal, so feel free to ignore!) is that the background colors aren't that great. Would have been nice if the bird was photographed against a more colorful backdrop."
Boy, if more people would speak up like that we would all learn something. You are correct about the backdrop. There wasn't any other backdrop available other than where the hen was. Good to hear from you.

Thank you for your generous comment on Hertford Fog Rework. It was a combination of right place and time, and some help from the Caedes community...Thanks!

For now, my night shots has come to a close, but will post some others on a later
date for sure. For the moment i want to thank you for your time and reply to my
posting(s) It was great to read them all, thanks again,

Thanks for your input on "Morning on the lake rework" Your comments were just the kind of feedback I was looking for. I see your in Chicago land, I grew up in Tinley Park if you know where that is. Have a good one. :)
Thanks Bob for your in depth comments on "Hibiscus dream". Hearing how an image impacts the viewer is wonderful! Your comments are very much appreciated.
Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

The creative act lasts but a brief moment, a lightning instant of give-and-take, just long enough for you to level the camera and to trap the fleeting prey in your little box.

Hey Bob,
I haven't heard about you in a while. Thanks for the comment on my 'Neon Tunnel'. The key for capturing that shot is to make the shutter just a quarter of a second. You have a DLSR which is way better than my pro-sumer camera. I suggest you hold the zoom lens as you rotate, this way, it's not just you can get a circle lighting, you can get a zooming rotation. Sort of like a vortex. That's how I imagine it. Have fun with you camera! take care! go try it!
Hi again Bob. A big thanks for the kind comments on my picture "Maria Webster Almshouses". I'm so pleased you liked it and really appreciate you saying so.
Have a great week
