My friend, thank you for your kind comments on "Rattlesnake Sunrise". I think it is a nice place to visit, but if I were you I would be happy to live where you are. I live about 15 miles (24 kilometers) from Rattlesnake Mt. and I would almost certainly jump at a chance to spend a year or two where you are.

Thanks for viewing and commenting on my Pussy Willow 5 image. This was taken in late afternoon with the sun shining on the back side. Behind it was the darknesss of a wooded area. I took this at iso 50, f11 at about 1/60 exposure with a fill flash using the cameras telephoto macro mode. I'm glad that you enjoyed viewing this image.

Yes, most definitely, "The Promised Sky" has that connotation.
There is a strong 'feel' to your image "Sunset Skyline." And although the suggested title has religious overtones, there was something about the colour palette that inferred that to me. Particularly the detail at the lower part of the horizon ... how it looked, at least to me, was that there was a promise of better things to come, new beginnings.
I hope you took it as a compliment as it was intended. To evoke a reaction and/or feeling from your work is one of the highest compliments I can imagine. And you managed to do just that.
Thanks for your reply. Look forward to seeing more.

If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.
"Shogun Attacker" Was not filtered. It was origionally a sketch through Photoshop by my collegue. Taking this on board I worked through the options in texturiser through CS2 to accquire the affect you see uploaded. I converted it origionally into black and white in HP photo editor and opened it in Photoshop. Changed the origional blueprint into brush strokes therefore it may look like layering however it is due to application not my own personal ability. Stay safe keep well. Nik ;-)
Glad you liked the shot of the waterfalls! ... The fun of such a falls is getting inside the falls to the air-space formed behind. Loud, wet .. and quite memorable. Rather hard on the camera though. ;)
Very kind of you to comment on February Autumn, I have had a good long look at your work, and must admit, I am very impressed!
.....Thank You....

Thanks for the very nice comments on my Amicalola Creek 2 image. If you take a close look, you can see the early signs of Fall. I'm glad that you like it. This was in open shade taken at iso 50, f11 and about 1/20 exposure. I also used a slow fill flash to lighten the shadows.

thank you for the kind comments on "Praying For Spring". Glad you liked it.
A Photograph is more than a still image of the real, it is a doorway into the unreal, it allows you to see through the eyes of the photographer, and see how they see the life around them.

Howdy from Arizona! Thank you for the great comments at "This Anna's a Male". I do have years of amateur experience, but not w/hummingbirds - so I also have lots of pics of the S ends of N bound hummers! I have 2 other hummer pics (sitting still) on Caedes. You have some great close-up shots in your portfolio - I like the London at night!

lol..it took me forever to decide exactly where to put the wren's song lily on the photo. Believe me, she was everywhere before I finally decided on that corner. She just seemed to anchor there better than anyplace else, and it also left room for icons :)PJ
Cheers.............
