I thought I would post something a little different! . I like the way the light hits the center, lighting up the rust spots. . Then the colors become cooler towards the outside. Comments welcome!

Your comments on "Old town new feelings" are correct. It's amazing to walk from the new town and head into the old town as you see this fortress... it's like stepping into a time machine for real. Once inside, it's amazing to see how clean and well kept these houses and buildings in a city that dates back more than 4,000 years. Truly facinating! Thanks for your kind words Connie.

For the camera buffs out there that are inquiring about the equipment I use this shot was taken with one of my favorite lens setups. The Canon 300mm F4L with a Canon 1.4x extender. The longer the lens the greater the working distance from the subject. No scare and no smell.

Thanks for your informative comment on Red Crowned / Japanese Crane the Wildfowl, & Wetland Trust has nine nature reserves across Britain where they have collections of many endangered wildfowl.
It's good to hear there restoring farmland in Central Illionis to wetlands, not all news is bad hey! I know Spike will take some comfort in that. Lol
