Thanks for the comment on "True Loves First Kiss. Yes they do mate for life. These two have been here for 2 years. The hatchlings of the first year didn't survive. Racoons or Opossums. This year we'll see. Thanks again.
Re 'red hot pokers' - the others didn't get the name, even though that was the title. They must have thought you made it up, as they really do look like red hot pokers. Always liked those werid, beautiful plants!
Hi Craky: Glad you liked "Newly Hatched" These are typical Australian gumnut blossoms from Eucalyptus tree, I suppose the do look a little unusual when seen for the first time. Cheers Al.
I am pleased that you liked "Blue Morning".I like the work that you have done photographing flowers too.I have taken many photos of flowers in the past few months so I tend to pass by them here which is a shame because there are so many good ones.
Thanks alot.

Hello Cracky....Thankyou for your comments on (RAGING BULL).....I take your point on the dark areas of the picture....I captured the image very early in the morning hence the dark areas....Don't you think it makes it a little eerie.....All the best.....Mick.
When I first saw this patch of thistles, it had about 5 Butterflies on it. Soon all but one were gone. I took dozens of photos of this little guy to get my Butterfly Kisses image. They are always moving and it's hard to get a good capture. Thanks Cracky for viewing and posting a comment.

So sorry for the So Many Lies !! I thought the last one I posted was what I wanted, but, it didn't do very well with the framing. I really wanted to post it a wee more natural and I really appreciate you checking it out again!!
Thanks for your comments on my Misty Morning ...it sure does look like a lake doesn't it ... I will post sometime a different perspective on the same part that totally changes the look of it.
Thanks Ted for taking a look at "Stars" and leaving the comment.

Thank you for your kind comments on my pictures. I appreciate it. There is a rose garden here in Belleville that I have been visiting and photographing some of the roses there. There is close to over 20 varieties of roses in this garden.
