Hey, judging by the profile, I'd say that this is my best friend, Swith, that I met when I lived in Colorado. Have you decided if you're going to come here and go to college with me, or are you going to take up that guy on the National Geographic job. I didn't know that you were a member of the Caedes, cool!

Thank you for all the kind comments on my work. They are really appreciated! It allways makes me glad when someone likes my stuff. :) "Third Triad", "Over the Hill" "Towards the Sea" and "Silver Cave" were all shot last summer in a nature reserve, south in Sweden. To be more excact the reserve is called "Klippan" (translates into "Rock") and is in the north west of "Skåne", the most southern county of Sweden.

I live in a city called Lund and "A Walk in the Park" is shot there. I have a little trouble pinpointing the location of the shooting for "Yellow Fields". I took a ride in my car around Skånes inland with my wife and kid and stopped at some random spots where I thought it looked nice. :) But it's somewhere in the western parts of Skåne... A large part of this county is cultivated and many farmers have this crop so it is as beautiful as this in many parts of southern Sweden during early summer. ^_^ I took "Graced by Light" my way home that day btw. ^_^

Cheers,
Klas

Hello Swith, and thank you for the compliment on "Ils ne passerons pas." The shot was taken about 40km north of Carcassonne, a French city just north of the Pyrenees. I spent almost a month there last year shooting photos of the castles in the region. Many ruined castles crown the mountains of the Languedoc, since the wars in the area lasted so long, but to reach most of them you have to walk up exposed footpaths that twist steeply up the sides of the mountains. Bring water and good shoes.

Interestingly enough the Gingerbread House shot was done on the same morning (Great light at that time of day) in the same park.
