Thanks for the comment and advice on "Red Admiral". It's very much appreciated. I thought that the background was appropriate to this butterfly because the butterfly and the loosestrife are prominent on the foreground. Nevertheless I will try to make the changes in PSP. Again, I appreciate you taking the time for my photos.

Thanks for commenting on Grasses and Grasses - Rework.. I am pleased you liked them.. The color change started as an accident but then looked so good, I played a little more.. The green seemed to wash out in the larger size.. Feel free to play with the images if you like.. It might be interesting to see what you could do with it..
Thanks for Two Bees and a Sunflower.. It is a very large flower.. The biggest one of the year..The image is just the way it came from the camera.. All I did, was resize it to fit the site requirements..
Back again.. I had no idea that little bug was in the photo, till I saw it in the editor.. I was looking at that lovely Rose of Sharon in my neighbors yard.. Little stinker snuck in.. Wanted his picture taken..
Hello, thank you very much for your comment on Little Angel. Her mother loved the picture when I showed it to her! I use a mass of brushes and textures for my photo minipulations and I use Paint Shop Pro 8.

Hi there...thanks a lot for your kind appreciation of Harrison Park...glad you liked it...I too usually lament the end of summer but this year was so hot and humid I look forward to some cooler temps...tks again.:Pat.
Thank you for the kind comments on "At the Center of the Known Universe". I'm pleased you like it.
The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed.

Thanks for the comment on Ferix, the planet doesn't have any visible land or water because it's a gas planet, I'll upload one with an icy surface, icy land and frigid waters can be seen, hope you look forward to that!
I took a few days trip to the Baltic Sea and started from Frombork by the Vistula Bay, Poland. The shot was taken from the tower of Frombork. What a magnificent view. I could stand there for hours just admiring the panorama. Thanx for your kind words on the Frombork Cathedral.
I am very glad you liked so many of my photos. I love landscapes. The nature is so surprising in all its shapes and colours. The variety of fauna and flora is astonishing. I guess I should have gone some other, more artistic way in my life. Nevertheless it is wonderful that we can display and watch the scenery from the other part of the globe here in the net.
Thanks for the comment on my sunset piece - glad you liked it. Though I should say it wasnt my first post...I'd done about 15-20 fractal pieces and fountain photographs months ago but caedes deleted them... :(
Thanks for commenting on Summer Rose..I do appreciate it.. Yellow roses are my favorite, also.. This one is called Oregold..I love it.. Sometimes the buds have a hint of red..
Thanks for commenting on 'newbuilding'. The ship is painted in extremely bold colours, just like all the ships belonging to this shipowner. About smile - I noticed the nostrils in the place where you probably found smile LOL
thanks for the supportive words on the Caedes T-Shirt contest images. i'd love to see them too but it would need some serious support from members to get it off the ground - even to produce say 200 good quality shirts in a single colour and spread of sizes you'd be looking at the thick end of $1400....

Thank you very much for your positive comment on "water lilies". Thay caught my attention in the park. Usually I come across white lilies.
Have a nice day.
Hi there, it's only me.
Thank you for your very kind words about my, Mirror Lake and Medicine Bow Peak image. The only way that you could possibly take a bad picture of this beautiful place would be to leave your lens cap on.
By the way, for your informaton. The popualtion of Buffalos has just passed one million. A strong comeback but not enough to replace all of those slaughtered.

Hey daybreak, thanks for your comments on "Sunset over Mudflats"! Dad runs his own computer business so has a whole heap of specialised equiptment and programs for lost data retreival - not sure of the actual logistics of it all!!
Many thanks for your comments on picture 'Rooftop Sunset' I have had a good long..long look at your photos and find them brilliant, especially the butterflies....I like to take pictures of these as well...but do not get so many varieties in the UK. I would like your views on my other photos
Thanks for the compliments on "Carriage Driving Horse Show" & "Carriage driving II (Welsh Ponies)" AND "Buzzard (Buteo Buteo)". It's very much appreciated. It sure was fun being there near so much lovely horses.

Many thanks for your nice comments about the "Aberdulais Falls". This is the first time I experimented with time lapse photos, so I'm glad you like it!

Dear Daybreakteacher,
Firstly thank you for taking the time for looking at "Red Square"......etc. Your right about them tilting and I never even realised untill now. I used a slow shutter speed no my SLR to get more of the drama of the sky @ the time. I think that because the sky is alot lighter in the top left hand corner of the shot the opposite side is alot darker behind the main body of the buildings that optically this may have something to do with it. Thanks alot for pointing it out. Im going to get ready for a late night figuring it out. Keep well.
hi, thanks for your comment on standing tall 2. the shot was taken in the karnak temple in luxor, egypt. the columns are 3 thousand years old or so standing 21 meters tall.
Thanks for your compliments on "Frogs proposal".
It was a very warm sunny day so the frogs were enjoying sitting in the sun.
Glad you liked the photo. Gr. Eric
Thanks for your lovely comments! You truly are the queen of butterfly photographers! If music be the food of love, play on! (I actually wasn't the biggest fan of Shakespear's work in my school days!)
Thanks for your comment on "Miami".I do have other photoes without the fence on the other side of the road, but they do not have the framing of the palms, and what is Miami without the palms? :) So I decided to upload this one instesd. Again thanks for your posting on Miami.
hey Thx for the coment on drijvend water , it is one of my favs but hasn't been well recived here , so it always nice to hear that someone else liked it to.
Hi there, Just passin by to say thanks for commenting on my image, every comment i read is taken into account to further improve my skills and future images. By the way, its not meant to be sand. The image just wasn't processed properly and there were probably too many images overlaping.
Hello and thanks for the comments on "Elephants Ear". When I walked around to the backside of that plant and saw the leaves backlit, I thought it would make an interesting study of light, shadow, shape, form and color. I think they really captured the essence of what I was looking to do.
I'm pleased that you liked it enough to give it high marks
Bad artists always admire each others work. They call it being large-minded and free from prejudice. But a truly great artist cannot conceive of life being shown, or beauty fashioned, under any conditions other than those he has selected.

Hi, many thanks to you for stopping by and viewing my "Peacock Tomatoes"! Flowers are really my thing, so I am trying to branch out a little and hopefully brake the cycle! smiling! Please stop by again! Sincerely, Marilyn
Hey there,
Thanks for your comments on Glacial River. Interesting idea with regards to the colour of the water, though from what I understand of the physics of it, the particles are so fine, that if the water remains turbulent, even slightly, the particles remain in a semi-aqueous state.
It seems to me that what wears us down the most in life aren't the chances we take, but the chances we dont take, the dreams we put aside, the adventures we push away, the questions that are never answered

Hi! Thanks so very much for taking the time to look at and comment on "good morning". I appreciate the nice feedback immensely. Have a happy and peaceful day.
Hi Thanks for your comment on 'Delicacy'. I too have a lot of butterfly photos of a similar type to yours but can tell you were using a much better camera than me. Love your images of the american falls and horseshoe falls. You must have been there right after a storm or something though cos it looks a lot rougher than when i went. Keep your eyes peeled fro more Niagara photos coming soon. Hope your day out was as fantastic as mine! My boyfriend ended up proposing to me in the evening just as all the lights came on to illuminate the falls!!!! Was very magical :)

i reposted a cropped version of bee at work revised..although ididn't change the colour at all (i dont think i did anyway), its a little stretched and if people point out that a lot then i will have to find the original when i get home and re-crop it trying to keep the proportions. i would appreciate it if you could have a look at it and see what you think. thanks
Hey thankyou so much for all your comments on my images. im really pleased that you like them and for your little personal comment. Its made my day that youve commented you so many of my photos. I feel very flattered. Thanks again

Day,
Thank you so very much for your kind words about my, Mount Princeton and Cottonwood Trees. I have never photographed these beautiful trees in the past as they are easily overlooked when the Aspens are in color. Since we missed the Aspens this year we turned to the Cottonwoods for color. Much more difficult to photograph. They are now on my list of fall colors.

Good Day, Day !:0)
I am so happy that someone got to see this image. I posted it about 6:00PM(Eastern Time) Monday night as I figured that was the time that most Goblins are their busiest.
I then called it quits and turned of the computer. As I understand it I no sooner turned off the "pter when a Moderator pulled the image thinking I was doing a copyright infringement. It wasn't until late Tuesday morning that I received a PM stating that it met all of Caedes standards. Now I could have told them that if they would have contacted me. As a professional photographer all of my working career I have done many product shots so I am probably more aware of the law than they are.
Sorry I did not mean to ramble on. Tim Hortons coffee is the BEST that I have ever tasted. It is not strong like Starbucks. There secret is that they do not let a pot of their coffee set over twenty minutes. It is dumped and a fresh pot is made. I hope that you find a Tim Hortons and try it. Don't worry about the hour as they are open 24hrs a day.

Thanks for your insight on "The Breakers". To be honest, I took about 100 pics of that spot, for some reason I kept coming back to this one. I cant remember why, it just kept making the cut. But I do see your point about the angle of the wave, so I have made it my mission to go back to the ocean and re-take this picture. And for that I thank you!
Hey! I remembered you wanted to see more of my pics as soon as I upload them... So.. I just uploaded a new one! I would love to see a comment from you.
