Thank you, Glenn, for the very nice compliment on "A Slice of Oregon." I moved here from Arizona about 12 years ago, but I'm still constantly amazed at the scenic vistas I seem to find around every new corner. I'm glad you liked this one as much as I did. Thank you for letting me know. Steve
Hello Glen. Thanks for your comments on "As the Seasons Change". No filters were used here just a technique called "selective depth of field"

Hi Glen, thanks for the comments on "Path of least Resistance", "Cloud Burst" and "Mercury Matrix". That log did fall, likely becuase of the wind and old age. Yes, desaturation does add noise to the image. A job for Neat Image;-)
Hi Glenn. I'm glad to see that you lked and took the time to comment on my "Just Another Day" photo. The buildings you see on the horizon are indeed a suburb of New Orleans. The fact that they are viewed over water explains why property values in the greater Metro area are so high - water on three sides prevents the city from expanding.
.Hi Glenn;
Thank you for your comment that you left about my, Mix Lake and Aspens image. This is a wonderful area that I love to photograph in.

Glenn;
I am honored by your many visits to many of my images. The comment that you made about my, Maroon Bells, image is not correct. The thought that you had, I believe, was that I manipulated the sky by lighting, of "fading it". Sorry my friend it looks good because that is the way that the good Lord made it that day. Thanks for the compliment though. Seriously, the sky at altitudes above 6,000 feet can record many different ways. If you would return to my image of Mix Lake and Aspens you would note the sky is almost a black. This is normal at 10,000 feet. Most all of the dust particles are below you and the UV haze that is so obvious in many photographs is a non factor. Thanks for looking.

Hi, Glenn, thanks for taking a look at Capturing the Dawn and also for your comment. Glad you liked the shot! It was a rare and beautiful morning! Mike
ps: nice Crocus shot in your gallery. Not enough time to look around tonight as I'm leasving on a trip tomorrow, but I hope to get back to your works.

Hi, Glenn, sorry to be slow in thanking you for comments on Marsh at Dawn 2, but I've been out of town. Anyhow, thanks for taking time to comment and I'm very pleased you liked this image! Mike
Hi Glenn, thanks for your comments on "Magic Beauty"! I appreciate it very much! My camera is a digital. One hundred and fifty shots happen in a hurry, and it is fun when you open that image, the one you love, after having seen so many you didn't! Sincerely, Marilyn
Glenn, thanks for your comment on Dunes at Dawn 2. Indeed, Medano creek seems a contradiction to the dunes. Strangely enough, it just disappears into the sand about a mile from where I took the shot. Even stranger, the dunes would not exist without the creek....it recycles the sand from the downwind edge of the dune field and back to the upwind side. So the sand, continually recycled by the creek, is blown back up onto the dunes, making them continually larger.
Hello Glenn! Thanks for commenting on my Night Driving 3 image. Yes it is mirrored. The camera was set at ISO 50 at f11 and hand held on top of the steering wheel while I drove across Tampa Bay. I'm glad that you like it.

Hello Glen;
I'm very grateful for your comments on "Lower Lewis River Falls". I know that Nathan also appreciates them. He does marvelous work, doesn't he?

Thanks Glen for the post on Bali Hi Panorama. the equipment I used was a Canon EOS 350 fitted with the EF-S 17-85mm IS lens all mounted on a manfroto tripod :-)
Thank you Glenn for your comments on "A Rocky Beginning". I love the Cascades in the spring. Everything just springs to life.(Little humor there with the play on words) Oh, never mind. Thanks again.
Thank you for the comment on "Piercing Qualities". This shot was at the same location but on a different day. Hopefully I get the time to get back soon before the young ones leave the nest:-)
Thanks for your comment on Klondike Brook, Glenn. The G530 looks like an excellent camera, but probably doesn't have an IS function. Cameras that do include it often advertise it as a main selling point. Tripods may be clunky, but they're still the best bet. Thanks again for the comment and enjoy taking photos.
Hi Glenn - thanks for the post on La Lune - in answer to your question about digital zoom - no, its taken with an EOS 350D with a 400mm lens extended to 800mm - it's fuzzy a little because its ( a ) a quick exposure and ( b ) it's a quarter of a million miles away :-)
Thanks for commenting on Moonrise. The lower half of the pic was exposed much longer ant water is hard to get the noise out of without loosing the detail.
Hey Glenn, thanks for the comment on Forgotten Realm. I'm glad you liked it. Yeah, I had trouble getting the pterodactyl looking like it was a part of the world. But that's what I came up with - I know the shadow is off but when I put it more under the creature it looked almost "angular". Thanks for your honest opinion!
Hi Glenn: "On a Clear Day" was taken here in Washington State. Thanks for the comments. I really appreciate them.

You were right. I am sorry. As to the "evening window" - there were unfortunately some spots on the lens I am afraid. That is because I spend the whole day in the open air. I waded through the bushes and so did my camera. I promise to watch out for my lens, LOL. Thank you for comment. Nobody noticed it, you know.
Glenn,
Thank you for visiting my; Good Mornin' America How Are Ya, image. I also want to thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I uaually name my images after they are printed but this one was named as I was seting up my camera. I couldn't help but sing the song as I was capturing the image..

Thanks for dropping by Sinfonia! Glad you liked it...it's pretty simple...I use Apophysis 2.02 to make my fractals and then rework then in 2.02z and render them in that one...if you want help...you can always ask.
Hi Glenn...many thanks for your positive feedback on Sharing the Mirror...glad you liked it and no, I don't have another of that particular occassion at the moment...perhaps I will try another there sometime...tks again for your interest.:Pat.

The metal things on the foreground are buoys that you attach your boat to, the bigger conrete slab on the left is wave breaker, don't know what purpose the middle thing has ;)
Thanks for your kind comment on "Great Grey", Glenn - I always think these owls look startled, but in this shot he came out looking a bit sleepy and, as you say, almost bored... :-)
Thank you and most obliged Glenn!...for your kind words to 'February Autumn' Just the 'one' image pal..... I tell you, it was a bit 'freaky' weather -wise...all I done was some H&S, as this was one of my first images to Caedes...also, I was a novice in Photoshop...( still am!)
....Bob..
Thanks for dropping by On a New View! lol I actually didn't notice anything like that when I first made it! anyway...for now they stay "magical clouds" and plus...I'm unskilled in making things like that...like you :'(
Thanks for dropping by Whispering Winds! Glad you liked it and you should try it out...plus w/ur manipulating skills it'd turn out great...you can make some terraspace images! :D btw...you better make some like soon lol
Hi Glenn! Thanks for the nice comments on 'Galaxy C3' I appreciate you taking the time to look. As for making planets, I made a photoshop brush using layered images of clouds (to get a realistic texture) and brushed them onto terrain I made up. I just added some emboss, and contrast, to create shadow etc. and voila! Thanks again for stopping by!
Thanks for all your support and all the kind comments that you have left on my latest images. Im glad that you liked and I hope that you enjoy the ones to come.
Hey Glenn (with 2 NN's).....My son is named that too!...and it was always annoying when his teachers were only spelling his name with 'one N'.........
Kind of you to visit Bolam Autumn!....yeah...it wont be long now..afore I will go back there and get more like this...............thanks for the comment my friend..........Bob (with 2 B's?)
Thanks to all who comment on pictures in my gallery. Please accept my apologies if I am unable to thank you each time, and please don't feel obligated to thank me for my comments.

Thanks a lot for your kind remark to one of my postings, shot in Switzerland.
I have fallen in love with the beauty of that country, so each comment is very apriciated :-) best regards,
Thanks for the comments on 'Yakima River (HDR)' very much appreciated. HDR is done with software and is three or more different exposures of the the same pic. I just finished one with seven.
