I went to photograph the sunset on that beaufiful evening but decided to change to some close-ups. My Sweetgum Sunset image was the result. Thank you very much Hilde for viewing and commenting on this image. I'm glad I could share it with you. Welcome to Caedes.

Hello Hilde, thanks for noticing and commenting on 'Eagle Suit'. I am still a little giddy over being able to get any Eagle pictures at all and just coming back to my what little sense that I have.

Welcome to Caedes Hilde. Thank you for your positive feedback on Christams is coming. Glad you found it so appealing. I guess I still miss Christams wallpapers here in caedes. So I have decided to add some. Stay tuned
Hello Hilde, “Banksia Banquet” was taken in the wild. I was returning to the car after spending several hours in a makeshift hide. He was on a bush just two metres from the track I was walking on. This one was by far the best shot of the day. Isn’t life funny sometimes? Thank you for your comments about him, they are truly appreciated.
Dear Hilde,
Thanks for your kind comments on "St. Clair". It’s a sad situation here since this waterfall is at the verge of disappearing due to a new power plant construction up the river. There are many environmentalists who try to save this waterfall but seems like they will fail. Some day this photo will be a memory of another nature’s gift which was destroyed by human hands.
Thanks so much for the view and comment on Christmas Puoppy. Yes he is a boxer. A sick puppy right now, he is in the hospital and will hopefully come home today.
Hello Hilde.....Thankyou for your kind comments on (PORTREATH)......Of course Portreath is a very popular holiday attraction especially for the surfers....On a stormy day/night it is very dramatic.....Have a nice Christmas....All the best ....Mick.
Good evening Hilde......grateful for your kind comments to 'Mist-in-the-Valley'....I am lucky because this valley is about half a mile from my home....It is a caravan and camping park, with loads of amenities like sports, swimming, walks... also plenty of photo opportunities!
Very Best wishes to you and yours for the coming festivities
Regards Bob

Thanks for commenting my ' Shy 2 ' picture......we had -22F ( -30 C ) today, so he liked to stay in my house the whole day. Just now he is out again and looking on the great northern light we have here just now. Glad you liked the picture / HJ.
Hi Hilde, and thank you for leaving a kind comment on "Porthbeor". We do have some lovely scenery, and I'm glad I was able to share this little bit of it with you :-)
Hey Hilde....Most grateful for yor input to 'Pine Tree Drive'....believe it or not...I was sat on the grass having a 'cuppa' and just lifted my camera to snap this....just a tad on the enhancement to boost the colour
.Obliged for your words..........Bob

Thank you for your visit to "mysterious pond -revised" I posted the image for all those who don't like borders, but personally in this case I prefer the one with borders as well. It has some finished look. And as you mentioned it the black border gives more emphasis to some details and the atmosphere of the place.
I see you also discovered the "snowcover". Glad you liked the tree branches creating some kind of a natural frame. You can spot such beautiful places in the middle of the city, very early in the morning just after the snowfall. Thank you for your supporting words Hilde.
And finally I would like to thank you for your comment on "enchanted place" and your best wishes. I hope this new year will be a better one for you. Let your dreams come true.
Hello Hilde.....Thankyou ever so much for your kind comments on (PORTHTOWAN)...This part of Cornwall is so beautiful what ever time of the year....Very shortly the spring flowers will be appearing giving a splash of colour to the country side ...All the best ...Mick.
How kind you are! Thank you for your very caring comment for my softest flower posting...this is the nice thing about caedes...people who truly care about natures beauty and about each other...it kind of goes hand in hand...thanx so much Hilde...verena
My Wasp 5 image was taken in early Spring when the air was still cool. These little guys are not that agressive then so getting close was not a problem. Thanks Hilde for taking the time to view and comment on this image.

Glad you took a walk down my favourite alley in this "snowy January". It was snowing and the well-known place turned out to be some magical one. Thank you for your warm comment.
I really appreciate your support and kind words on 'Pine XIV', thank you! I'm very pleased that you like it and you took the time to say so! Thanks again!
Hi Hilde, Many thanks for your kind comment on 'Eyed' I am so glad you like it. I just hope more people look at it full size as in the thumbs it looks like nothing. Hopefully your great comment will encourage others. I am so very greatful.
Ian :o)
Thanks so much, Hilde, for your kind words on 'Where Faerie Play', I really appreciate you taking the time to say so, and I really appreciate your support! Thanks again!
Thanks Hilde for your nice comment about my 'Skylight' picture. This is a sunset, not a sunrise!!! ....this is the only place I can catch this sunsets, because I have big trees around my place, so don´t be surprised , if you will see the fence again. :-)

Thank you Hilde for the comment you left on "Huckleberry". There was a very strong backlight on the bush and the darker patches are the seeds within the berry.
Hilde, thanks so much for your kind appreciation of Isolation...wasn't sure whether to post it or not being yet another swan pic but glad I did...your visit and nice comments are much appreciated.:Pat.
thank you for leaving a comment on "Afternoon Pond", I really appreciate it and I'm glad you liked my picture. This picture was taken at a nice and warm Sunday afternoon in November last year and I did really enjoy that peaceful scenery with the afternoon sun shining her warm light on that wooden platform.
Have a great time and feel free to visit my gallery...
Bernd
Many thanks for your kind words of support for my winter sceneries. They look much nicer when with a little bit of sunshine, don't you agree? I have already missed some sunny spells. And finally we have them in Poland. Glad you found the "sunburst in the woods" and "sun warmth" woth your visit. It is good to know there are people who are not afraid of some icy wind and frost, lol.
Hey there Hilde...Lovely to hear from you..grateful for your kind words to 'Old Window etc' I forgot to mention in the 'write-up' that this place was a ruined Abbey, with a somewhat 'dubious' history!! There was no one else around at the time....now you know why I needed the 'Wee Dram' of Malt !! I dont have to tell you after that shot I 'beat a hasty retreat'! and 'legged it' to my car!!!.....(why are you 'laffing' !!!!)
Stay well my Dear........Bob
Hi Hilde, many thanks for your thoughts and comments on "A Pink Pearl"! I am so glad you liked it! That poor rose exhibited some strange behavior, smiling, under really wierd conditions! It was as thought the poor thing had a reason for hanging on! It was so beautiful A rather interesting story, I thought! Two days after I took the shot the rose assumed the life of a dying rose! Until that time, about 10 days, it had an interesting existence I would say! I had fun with it, thanks again Hilde, and please stop by for another visit! I would like that! Sincerely, Marilyn
