Baklit BackStabber - Glad you liked it, David. I thought the lighting was great, if I could get it just right.I got it, and it's brother got me, when I turned to move to another spot.

Thanks for the comments on 'Some Kinda Yellow Bird' much appreciated. And thanks for the info on the bird. The Yellow Bird trackers are the ones tracking it.

David,
Thanks so much for your kind words regarding Everywhere Sky, they're much appreciated. Glad you liked it. I'm glad you plan on checking out the HDR software. I've been truly blown away by some of the images I've seen (by others) who have mastered this software (Check out the HDR images on Flikr.com). It's such a veresaitle software. I can't wait until I'm more proficient with it. I was pleased enough with Everywhere Sky and Displaced to post them but I know I have a ways to go yet. I'm finding myslef beginning to think wabout what setting/lighting/composition might look best using HDR software. HDR software is best suited for extreme lighting situation to my mind and I plan on taxing it's abilites again soon (this shot was my first example of taking that next step). Good luck and let me know how you like it. I started with the trial version myself and new instantly that it was for me. As a former illustrator, I particularily like it's ability to create "illustration like" images which can be fairly easily manipulated. Take care.

I am thrilled to find all the positive attention Dunajec castle received. Who could ask for more? If I knew it would be examined in detail with a magnifying glass and would give raise to serious discourse I would have tried my best to avoid all the shortcomings. Anyway I believe it is still an eye pleasing view. Thank you for your warm comment.
hi david, thanks for your comments on 'perspectives'. it so true that everyday, ordinary things can be made into art, and its something i have fun doing all the time

Hello David . So nice of you drop by and share your comments with me. Thanks for looking at "Fine rose". I appreciate your insight about the background. I sometimes have a hard time making up my mind what should go with what. Just a plain background? Ok.
Hi David. I'm glad you stopped by to look at my "Fine Rose" picture. I simply studied a paper flower and started working with the different shapes I saw in it. Then I simply added more elements such as leaves and vines as I wanted them in the drawing. I used a program called PagePlus 11. It has really fabulous features to draw just about anything but that is not what the program is primarily for. It really is a publishing program. It has a great line of effects that are greatly adjustable. It is no substitute for Photoshop but it ranks up there in my opinion. Glad you asked.
Thank you for commenting on aAlien Red. you know I didn't even notice the backround until everyone else did! But I wish I could edit the picture without having to take it off the site, so I'll just keep it there. But I'm glad you liked it. :] very nice gallery by the way.
Dear David. Hobbit house is a very suitable discription for "Living in nature". Thank you for stopping by. I had a look at your gallery too. Few of them impressed me.
Thanks for your comments on "Artemis in Autumn"! I appreciate it. Yes, I'm going to do more God/dess walls, and in fact have just started one for Athena. :)
Hi David, thank you for veiwing and your nice comments on "Sunset in Heaven" I always appreciate you taking the time to look at my work. And your comments mean alot to me.
Hi David, wellcome to my gallery and thanks for your comments on «Oporto night III»; very much apreciated.
You wrote « Think it would be better without the border; it's just the wrong color»...in fact you are wrong about the colour.
Take a look at the lights above the bridge...yes it´s the colour of the border of the pic.
Regards, and thanks again.
Hi David, thanks for your comment on 'after the rain'. Since Prague is our favourite town we have lots of photos from there. This already was our fifth trip there.

Hi David, I know someone with your name here in Australia, small world:) Anyhow, thanks for the lovely comment and the information you left on "Extrovert", it was very much appreciated. The fact that it's an onion now makes perfect sense, especially is you see the bud picture (Introvert) - it's very oniony:) I'm not as crazy as I sound btw, it's just late here:) Cheers, Kelcey.
Hello David and thanks so much for stopping by and leaving your kind comment on "Sunshine over pike lake with ice" That day it was in the 30's and the sun was out but the wind made it colder yet. Thanks for stopping by i do appreciate it. Sandi
Tranquil Creek was a small feeder creek that I came across back in the Fall. I'm glad that you enjoy it's beauty. Thanks David for the nice comments.

So nice you dropped by to get some rest under snow cover, David. I hope this winter related poem by James A. Kisner will please you as much as my image did…
“…The soft flakes feel like drops of ice when drifting on my face,
And everything feels fresh and clean as I walk through this place.
The trees are covered with a coat of freshly fallen snow,
Then some have icy branches that give off a crystal glow.
The only sound that I can hear is little wisps of wind,
But only for a moment then the air is still again.
My heart is overflowing with a feeling from within,
A gentle, soothing, calming feeling comes to me again…”

......your lovely words on snub-nosed fellow overwhelms me with pride!... I was surprised to discover so many insects feasting on these flowers. What a great opportunity to take a good shot. You have to beware of busy bees though. Thank you also for your visit to "comma butterfly". It seems I can always count on your kind words. See you soon.
I am flattered to have you visit my “bee” photo, David. Let's say it was a bee in disguise, lol. (*wink, wink*) Anyway I am so glad you liked the outcome of my flower session. A very very huge THANK YOU my friend.
Thanks so much for dropping by with your thoughts and comments on my "spring trio", David. You always have such nice words for me, I really appreciate it. Stay tuned.
Hi David,
Thanks for your nice words on "After Dinner Ritual", they are much appreciated,
You mentioned it might be a hoverfly, after doing some research in this field, I found it's possibly a Helophilus pendulus,
Glad you liked it,

Hey David :D
Thanks for stopping by Delicate...thanks also for reading my tutorial :)Yeah, I know the grey-on-grey may have been a bad choice, but if someone plans on using the tut, they must have some sort of image editing prog and so they could use that to make the writing stand out, lol....but yeah, I would have saved people a whole lot of hassle if I used a different colour...ah well ;P
Take care,
Hi David, thanks so much for taking time to comment on 'Seagull'. Yes, I agree that the foggy weather must've been making the poor little guy upset. ;) -rachel
Thanks David for the comment on 'Time to Leave'. That tornado was officially declared an F-5 today, pretty scary. Hope the weather's better in New Mexico!
Thank you very much for your advice on "The Mustangs of Las Colinas", Mr. Oliver. This is a very big sculpture. The big horses are about 9 feet tall. They are surrounded by ofice buildings on 3 sides. My uncle asked if there was any place the people who did not work there could take a picture from above but all the guards in all the buildings said, "No". :(
David thank you for your comments and your information on "Signs of Autumn". You are in fact correct about these being teasels. I have confirmed this with my boss, Mrs braces. I know practically nothing about plants and flowers but I do know when something looks good enough to photograph.
