Hi Peter... thanks you so much for your comment on Dive Into The Unknown... im so glad you liked it... I like to try my hand at different types of art, and i'm always fascinated with manipulations.. so I thought I would try my hand at something other than just adding to a fractal... I enjoyed putting this together it was a challenge and different.. when I look it now I can see little faults with it.. but i'm happy how it turned out.. i just have to fine tune it.. =)
Also my thanks for your comments on The Eagle Has Landed and Under The Sea.... sometimes a fractal just needs a little more to it... =)
Hello Peter, thanks a lot for your comments on "caedes-expo". I didnt use the perspective tool in pcs2...I did it manual....hard work lol
my new "Where are you AT"
hello peter, thanks for your nice comment on "out my window". i appreciate you mentioning the blurrs...hummmm different pix were shot with different cameras and in different modes. maybe i should stick to the same camera for a while..lol....i've never been told about the blurrs before..pehaps i am dealing with so much more talent...
Hello Peter, 10000000000 of tons of Thanks yous for stopping by on "Guess WHO is" and to declare definily is not you....but Im definily sure you r more cute...:)
enjoy your day!!!! :)
=D Well, that's hillarious, because I was thinking of doing the exact same thing with the Africa image. I did use the layer styles and ya, I figured most of it out on my own (with a little help from the help menu). I see what you mean about the "engraved look" with the text, and I think it would work perfectly if I used the africa idea (then the text wouldn't get so lost)
Hi Peter. Thanks for viewing and commenting Horse On The Heath. It´s a nice landscape shot but your remark is correct - it´s a bit pixelated if you use the looking-glass...but it hangs on my wall in the 15 x 20 cm format and it still looks good..but larger than that will not be good. I´m really glad you enjoyed it anyway...

Heya Peter :D
Thanks for stopping by my *Nyoka*...yeah, she's an awesome pet! Big thanks also for your compliments on *Winter Spectre* and *3 of Hearts*...really pleased you liked the both, too!
Oh and by the way (I totally forgot about e-mailing you until today - sorry V_V)....the Gnomon DVDs are fabulous!...I enjoyed every minute of them and it was really interesting to see all the different techniques and things used - very inspiring ^_^
Have a great day and best wishes,
Hi Peter, and thanks for your kind comment on "Bal Jynjy". We're very fortunate in Cornwall that our industrial past has left us with such attractive ruins :-)
Hi Peter..I really appreciate your comments and time in viewing my gallery. I do respect your opinion and agree about the focus and clarity. The image of *City Lights* was blurred slightly and *Us* & *Vintage* was just something new on manipulations and will try to work on future images. Just started my program to actually begin correcting images and so forth. Glad for your true opinion.
Take care,
Cheryl
Hey Peter ^_^
Thanks for checking out *Lunar Dreams* - always love to hear from you! :]
Thanks for your software research too! That anime program looks awesome, I'll bear that in mind...Got another anime wallpaper coming soon also (hopefully), for my valentine :D
Hope you are well :]
Thank you Peter for dropping by and leaving the comments on my three images. I will see if I can correct the things that you suggested. And no I don't think you want to get into the Phsygology of the the darker side.
Hehe! You know I'm not a Photoshop specialist... (about 'Low-angle view in the forest').
Thanks Peter!
I was looking at the last Jojomercury's photos and I was thinking how two forests photos can be different... :-)
Hello Peter - Thanks for taking a look at Spiral Flames. I'm glad you like the image and I appreciate the nice comments. By the way, I like your response to the field of gender; I think 'silly question' is perfectly appropriate.
Hi Peter. Thanks a lot for the encouragement you left me on my " A Moment of Perfect Beauty" image. This stuff is all so hit-or-miss that you never know when you shoot an image whether it will be well received. your comments are extremely helpful, as they let me know what it is that works and what doesn't. Thanks.
Hey Peter! I wanted to drop off and tell you that I've brought snow pics from Israel! I only uploaded one, but a series of them is coming. I'll be glad if you take a look.
Hi again Peter. I saw your comment on my "Ils Ne Passerons Pas" image of the Pyrenean towers. These medieval fortifications are particular interest of mine too. I spend five years studying everything I could find about the Cathar eradication, and what interests me so much is that all these events around the world were so tightly bound up together. Quite an interesting pursuit. Oh, and the castles are cool too :-)
Hi Peter :D
Thanks for your input on *Fallen Angel*....I'm glad you liked it and I appreciate your views ^_^
The glare on the hair was deliberate (Inspiration from *yukirin* - try google searching; they're an amazing anime artist!) but I'll try out your idea anyway...a little experimenting won't hurt :]
Thanks again and best wishes,
Thank you for taking time to view and comment on 'It Charms The Pensive Soul'. All of my work I submit is treated with great care and preparation...as for the shadow, since the shadow was there and because I like it I kept it as it was taken. That is what I so love about Caedes, it is a place where each one can express their art according to their individual tastes and styles. Thank you for the offer of help and suggestions...should I have a question I will be sure to remember your kind offer and take you up on it!
Thanks again!
Cindy
Hi Peter, thanks for the wonderful comment on "Here Thar Beh Unykorns". Sorry to take so long to get back to you, but I couldn't get to the image for a couple of days! lol. I'll be doing more as I have time, and will definitely be posting.
Canon EOS 30D with the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM (strange for a kit lens, but it fits me). Gitzo Explorer G2220 w/ Manfrotto 488 Ball Head. Hoya Multicoated UV and Lexar x133 Write Acceleration
took your advice and posted some fractal flower I did in a tutorial.. Tell me what you think!! I am very very new at this so anyway you could help would be appreciated!!
Hello, my name is Naomi. I was wondering if I could use your images for my layouts at http://www.xanga.com/Simply_Lov3able_Layouts? I made a layout using your "Gatesea Fortress" image; URL to layout: http://www.xanga.com/lov3able_layout_66. I gave you credit by linking to your gallery. One link is in the navigational bar, and another in the code itself.
Anyway, I just wanted to make sure it was OK to use your images for my layouts; they're SO beautiful!
Hey neighbor, thanks for the great suggestions on "Angel Child." I wasn't aware that angels don't wear shoes, but if they're always in the air why would they need them? On the other hand, we're warned about entertaining angels unawares so they must touch down now and then...goodnight, anne :-)
Hi Peter and thanks for your comments on "gaurding Mother nature" To be honest, I don't know what else I could have done with the picture. It was a manip from Firewarks added to photoshop once i had clipped and sorted then images i wanted in it. To be honest, I thought it was a good attempt conmcidering it was my first attempt at this kind of work. We all have to start somewhere and I am working on my style more......it will come in time. I thinkyou for noticing that I have a creative eye though......Once I get the skill I will do better honest.

Hi Peter, many thanks for your comments on the Horse Whisperer photograph and thank you also for saying I have a good eye for a photograph. I appreciate that - it will give me the confidence to keep on striving to improve my photography. I have a very basic camera at the moment and hope to be able to purchase something with a much better lens soon, so I am hoping to be able to improve the quality too. thanks again, Patti
Supprisingly enough, this pond is full of life, even fish. It was a combination of the sunlight beating off the copper below the surface, and a filter I put on to enhance the colours. At one end of the pond it is full of Algae and the colours that shows is quite stunning. Getting back to your comments, i am honoured that you took the time to comment and thanks for them. I am glad you liked the shot.
Hey Peter :)
Thankyou for checking out *Yduela*....I'm very pleased to see you liked her!
Y'know since doing the *Water Fae* project, my style and techniques have changed so much....it's weird!
And I agree....there is something in her expression which conveys sadness....Not sure why she's sad but hey, I'll leave that for the viewer to decide :P
Thanks again!
Hello Peter...a note of thanx for noticing my Ocean Weaving post...I enjoy toying around with those kind of PSP things...just wish I had a bit more time, but then again this time of year is the time to go out and shoot photos, so I can take the time on the rainy Oregon days later on to play around inside...I hope you are doing well, I miss hearing from you..but know you are a very busy man...take good care of you...verena
Hoi Peter, thanks for your responce on a picture is shot in Austria.
I have not visited the salt mines, since i was on my way to Switzerland, but i have visited the Ice Caves, wich are above the lake, on the Dachstein mountain.
My previous 2 uploads, where from there, if you like, just have a look at my gallery pages.
Hi Peter and thank you for your comment on "through the eye of the storm. I can see what you meen with the picture but the main reason it looked a little textured for want of a better word, was because of the layering of the eye which was made textured when i drew it. That coupled with the cloud layer, gave me an almost rippled window effect. I thought it would be a shame to smooth it all out, so i left it as was. Thanks for your kind comments and i am humbled by your guidence.
Hey Peter :)
Thankyou for commenting on my images! :] - hehe, wow! So cool to hear about Zack and Lewis! I hope he, too is a real sweetie :]
Best wishes,

Hi Peter! Thank you so much for taking a look at Something Wicked This Way Comes & leaving such a great comment there. I'm so glad you enjoyed it ! It really brought a smile to my face, a non fractal person enjoying a fractal. Enjoy your week !
Fabulous to hear from you again, Peter. Big "THANK YOUS" for your generous words on "countryside tree" shot. The moment I spotted it I thought it deserved my attention and careful study... In fact I spent some time taking shots to capture the tree in full glory. And this time I am satisfied with the result.
Pleased you enjoyed Autumn Reflex Peter....How the hell are old pal! bit since I heard from you!...you well in yourself?.......
also kind of you to look at my 'phallic' Black pud!..........cheers for the visit!....Bob
Hi There Peter! Thanks for dropping by to my image "Rusted": I appreciate all the effort you went to with the suggestions. I know what you mean by the screws - they're all screwed up! (*cough*) As I am fairly uninspired at the moment - I might try this one again, because I think it could look a lot dirtier - and less 'clean'. Thanks again - and 'Watch This Space' Cheers!
Hi Peter and thanks for taking the time to comment on my Pen and ink of Glenariff and Fairhead I appreciate all your comments and guidence on my improvements as always.
So kind of you Peter to comment on my new look! 'Study in Pose'!....Now I can 'haunt' you with my new Avi too??? ...........Grateful for the visit.......Bob

Hey you! Thanks for dropping by on my 'Flowers with Fan' - inspired by a friend who bought me these massive bunch of flowers - and I knew I just had to capture something for posterity, cheers! M.
I can't say how much I appreciate you poppin' in to check out “Costa del Sol” sunrise. Did you know that there are more jet skis per capita than anywhere else in Europe? All year round, tourists enjoy Andalusia fine, sandy beaches and calm Mediterranean waters. I was no exception.
Thanks for coming by to see the "White Bellied Go Away Bird" Peter. He is at the Houston Zoo and is quite new there. I've never seen anything like him ;) Thanks so for coming by and I appreciate your very supportive comments. Take care and have a good one. Anita
Can't always give individual thanks but I am so appreciative of everyone's comments and input. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita

I'm delighted that you came by to join us celebrating. You certainly made my day and I'm so happy you enjoyed the colorful buffet. I am far behind with my written appreciation for the wonderful works of others and the marvelous attention given mine, so once again Peter, I thank you for all of the comments on my images that you have made!!!!!! Come on! Why don’t you try the red maple leaves. Aren’t they crisp and delicious? I think I will take second helping, lol.
Thanks bunches for your great comments on Cirque du Soleil Peter. I'm so glad you took the time to drop by & I'm really glad you're just an abstract kind of guy ! LOL ...

Hello Peter! I've been unable to spend the amount of time on caedes like I want too and I'm way behind on my comments. Thank you for your recent comments on images in my Gallery. I appreciate your support. Although I haven't had the time to comment on your images, I have viewed, enjoyed and received inspiration from them. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Hello Peter, Glad to meet you. Thanks for your comment on "Detroit River". Sorry for the smallness of the picture, but had to scan from a 3X5 photo. The only hard copy I have.

Hi Peter, thank you for the positive and supportive comments on my photograph 'meandering'. I am happy you can feel what I am capturing because that is what I am trying to do mostly - capture an image with feeling. thanks again :) Patti

My thank you can't begin to be big enough for the fact you used my clouds for the background of your wonderful castle. You touched my heart, as you know how much I love clouds. Your creative work is just magnificent Peter. I am enjoying going thru your gallery, for today it's the pleasure I need. Thank you again so very much. Feel free to use whatever parts of any of my photos you are able to use. I can't even imagine how you do it, but thank you again..Verena

Hey Peter, good to hear from you. I wish we would have been able to inside that structure. I saw some pics on historical websites of the inside that were fabulous. None the less, glad you enjoyed the outside.
