Thanks Bruce for the comments on my picture "Ring Tailed Chickadee" My camera setup for the bird blind was a 300mm lens with a 2x converter a bit much for such a big critter.
The future of this planet will be silence since mankind is too busy destroying it. BTW find the classic definition of Caedes here. Tutty bye for bye now. (o:
Progress equals a trashed planet since mankind is too busy altering it. BTW find the classic definition of Caedes here. Enjoy yourself today (o: because you don't know what tomorrow may bring.
Hi Bruce, thanks so much for your message about Quick take a photo, I was really surprised with the win. Appreciate your support, and I really, really admire your work.
Hi Bruce, thanks for your note about tree in water contest result. We still have internet problems, hope to be fixed soon. Have to catch up! So very much admire your talent!
Thank you Bruce, for viewing and commenting on Beauty of a mountain hike... I have no idea what these flowers are. I am in awe some of caedes artists that know every single flower, every single bird, etc. I think my brain will not hold detailed information like this anymore, but we can enjoy the beauty with ease!
Thanks for taking the time to comment on the picture Monarch This 560mm images dark background was created by closing the aperture down to F-13 and using a flash to light the insect.
For Purple and Pollen I used a 400mm lens with a 1.4x converter making for a 560mm setup. The long lens setup made for a much safer working distance from the bees than I would get using a 100mm macro. For a little more depth of field I was stopped down to F-16 and used a flash for fill light with a shutter speed of 1/640. Thanks for commenting
Thanks for viewing and commenting on my Heron picture Tasty Tail and yes it is a Blue Heron. On any given day you can find them fishing on the Des Moines river.
Why thank you, Bruce, for perusing my gallery! Thanks for making "House In The Woods" a favorite. I really appreciate that. Yes, I have been on Caedes for quite a few years. Me and my daughter use to wander around taking pictures together. It is fond memories.
Thanks Bruce for commenting on Meteora ... it is amazing to see, there are now six monasteries in this area, there used to be 23 ... wish you were around the corner "to pop over" and see for yourself.
Bruce, thanks so much for commenting on some of my photos, well, you surely must understand how wonderful I feel about this, since you are incredibly talented in the world of photography, thanks again!
Hi Bruce, thanks a bunch for commenting on Naxos, we are blessed to be able to capture scenes from all over the world and share them, it is really uplifting!
Ty Bruce, glad you liked Galaxy Born! That one's my first and only release consisting of just one fractal render.
Your gallery is freaking appreciably immense I must add, and you've made some really cool stuff. From a quick look, it seems like you and casechaser are holding down the fractal fort around this dying site.
