Thanks for your comment on 'Tranquillity'. It was actually tacken mid-afternoon rather that the morning but i think the editng i did on it gives that impression.
Thanks Blaz for your nice comment about Where Have They All Gone. Not many people like that shot, but as long as we do I'll leave it up. Thanks too for visiting Signal Station Arch and Days of Glory. Your comments are much appreciated.
Thanks for your nice comments on "The Oregon Coastline". Oregon is truely a wonderful place to live and I'm glad I can share it with others like you. :-)
"What other reason could there be to get up in the morning except to set ourselves free."
If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.
Thanks for your comment on "TIE Squadron". I might do other fighters one day, but probably no other Star Wars related objects. TIE fighters are nice and simple, that's why I chose them :-)
Thanks Blaz for commenting on my Rock City 3 photo. There is a bridge near the edge of the falls and I held the camera over the falls to take this shot.

Thanks for your comment on «Castle of Obidos». It is in Portugal, a little in the north of Lisbon. It is a small strengthened village of the medieval time which still has all these ramparts. Really splendid!!
Muchas gracias por el comentario en "XXXVIII"
Me alegra que sea de su agrado
Thank you very much for the commentary in "XXXVIII"
It makes me happy that it is of his pleasure
Hey Blaz, thanks for your comments on "Autumn Days 2", "Dazed & Confused", "Superstar Blue" and "Amherst Shore"...I'm happy you liked them.
To answer some of your questions, yes I love B&W, and yes, I've thought about trying pink with Superstar...still might! And "Amherst Shore" was not taken at the same location as "Autumn Days 2"....Amherst Shore is in Nova Scotia and "Autumn Days 2" was taken at the Gatineau Hills in Hull, Quebec. Both very nice locations for pictures though!
There are many paths to the top of the mountain, but the view is always the same.
Chinese Proverb........I think you'll really like Chinese Lion. roar.
It seems to me that what wears us down the most in life aren't the chances we take, but the chances we dont take, the dreams we put aside, the adventures we push away, the questions that are never answered
about using a polarizer, that would be done when you shoot the picture infront of the lens, not in processing. because the light refracting from the molecules in the air makes the 'blue'
sky you see, if you only take light polarized one way, it will cut out most of the refraction, and make the sky darker relative to the rest of the picture making the sky way prettier, but in postprocessing you could also play with selective colour or soemthing to make the sky darker
Thanks Blaz for viewing and commenting on my Shore Lunch Discard photo. I'm glad that you like this image. Blue Crab is very good eats but a lot of work picking the meat out of the shell.

Hi Blaz, it's good to hear from you in your new incarnation! Yes, "The castle on the mount" is the castle I snapped from the train, taken from the gardens on the far side of the earlier shot. Thanks for your interest and your kind comment :-)
Good morning
I enjoyed reading your comment on "Here's looking at you". Many thanks. The short version is that he/she/it is a resident of the planet Karb, a small planet in the system of Eert, tucked away in a quiet, seldom frequented corner of the galaxy known as Tnalp. It found it's way here by accident trying to get to an equally small planet call Hclum in the same galaxy - perhaps he is laughing at us?
Enjoy your day

Hello Blaz...thank you for visiting The Appearance of Autumn...I am pleased you liked it and very much appreciate your nice comments and high score.:Pat.
Thank you for your positive feedback on the Treasury, Petra. I am glad you liked it and I really appreciate your comment. I strongly encourage you to visit my gallery. There are also some shots taken in Eypt... Stay tuned
Regardless, thanks for stopping by "Care". I seem to have a problem with my images being too dark for most people. I create them for my monitor, which I am beginning to think is really bright. :-)
Hi Blaz...thanks a lot for the nice comment on REX...glad you liked him...also appreciate your great comments and high marks on Fruition...many thanks for your visits and feedback.:Pat.

Hey there Blaz, thank you so much for your nice comments on my images "Sifnos" and "Bourtzi" and your kind words about my country. I'm glad you liked both my pictures and Greece! Best regards !

Glad you found 'fender wear' good for your desktop. A lot of the close up paint job images I took at the car show just turned out as over hot reflections of myself and other car parts. This one was sitting in the shade so I was able to get all the detail to show up. Thank you for grabbing one of the images.
Hey Blaz, thanks a ton for your comment on "Spring's on the way". I guess we could combine your pic with the snowy branches and mine with the blossoming ones and make a great before/ after shot, hehehe! Hope you are doing fine and talk to you soon,
Best regards ~ Maria

thanx for your interest in my pic "in natures hands" it was at a festival called "the big green gathering" near cheddar in somerset in the west of england. its a festival of all things green, natural, and organic, i believe the largest festival of its kind in europe! its a five day festival where everybody camps out inc in teepees, theres lots of music all produced with solar and (when the sun goes down) pedal power! lol all the food is vegetarian and organic (yummy) , alternative natural medicines....everything! and its a family festival with lots of things to do for all... great fun!!! :) there are some permanent tp villages in england, and i once spent some weeks living in one. quite an experience!
glad you liked the pic ....phil :)
Thanks for your comment on "Artemis in Autumn". Yes, I intend to do more God/dess walls in the near future, and some will be from the Greek pantheon. I've checked out your gallery too, and like some of the images enough that you can expect some compliments from me too!
Thanks for your great comments on "Athena"! I'm having a lot of fun doing these, and have dug up a ton of great images for use in the future. In fact, I just uploaded a new pic, "Hermes", and I hope you like that one too!
