Thank you for taking the time to post your kind comments on "Death in the Long Grass". I am not very skilled, just get lucky occasionally. I enjoy photographing wildlife and the natural world but have no idea how to create a fractal, or even what a fractal is. This must be a technique for the computer literate. Have enjoyed looking at the fractal images on this site but have no idea how to create one or what is involved in making one.

If you feel like dabbling alittle in fractals, shutterbug, a good program to start would be Fractal Explorer 2.0 or Tierazon. These really dont involve much math skills at all, but you can edit the perimeters in both. Just take a shot at it. You never know till ya try!

PS. oops MUM - Tierazon takes some processor juice but generally, easy run and install on both. Hope this helps

Thank you for your kind and encouraging comments this morning on Prima Donna and some of my other images. Very much appreciated. In answer to your question about what programs I use...most of my abstracts are PSP8 manipulations of fractals that I've created in one of the following: UltraFractal, Tierazon, FraxFlame, MBFractals. I have a couple of other such programs, but am too much a computer illiterate to use them as yet, although I do keep trying. :D Any landscapes are (obviously) done in Terragen.
