Well hello there. My gosh, your brand spankin new. Your picture came up in the voting booth and attracted my attention so I checked the owner out. Excellent first post. hi frieda, thank you for stopping by to check out my work. 'a simple solution' was presented as just that...simple. it was a stripping away of bright shiny overly cluttered imagery. 'a most relaxing view' was taken in a very serene locale....had i the time, i could've spent the day there. thanks for taking the time to comment on my work, and i'm glad you liked it

hi, me again. in 'manhattan's edge' i just want to say thats a view anyone can see anytime..it's the view off the bow of the staten island ferry, which is free...i'm glad to share sunsets with anyone who appreciates them..they're very calming, and thought provoking at the same time

Thanks for the comments to Snakes! Freida...If this little 'beastie' even flicked it's tongue at me ...I woulda legged it very fast!......I was once bitten by a grass snake! Not poisonous, and hardly any teeth...but it gave me a nasty suck?........
These are hard to find in the wild....they try to keep out of the way of us humans....it is only when they are surprised and about to be stood on, that they attack and bite.....this one was a part of a nesting family that a friend had shown me where they were...other wise I would never have seen them!....Appreciate the visit..........Bob

Hallo Frieda, bedankt voor je reply op een van mn Brussels postings.
Het is een mooie stad, maar ik had maar 4 uurtjes tijd om fotos te maken, dus moet ik nog eens een keertje terug komen. Ook had ik geen tijd om een museum te bezoeken. Morgen post ik de laatste uit de Brussel series.
