Why did Jesus Christ have to die on the cross if all it took was good works to get to heaven? It is THROUGH Jesus Christ's blood that He saved us from Hell. If we could get to heaven on our own then Jesus Christ would've had to die again and again.

Ilian, thank you for your comments on "Carousel," and you are correct about the base plane. Often in my abstracts I will mix different textures, rightly or wrongly, for the visual impression they make and hopefully add to the viewing pleasure of the piece. I do appreciate you mentioning it for often others see it and may not bring it up. ~~ John

Thank you very much Ilian, for nice comment on my "Wings of the seagull" photo. You're right about to apply some noise reduction postprocess. I was too busy and just had wanted to put this photo here and couldn't play on it much. Actually I seldom apply some postprocess like crop and noise reduction. This is no exception. Only a standart sharpness and a bit lighting level correction applied in the Gimp.

Thanks Ilian for your comments on "Mistakes Were Made". I remember the good work you did on Old Church #2. It's the tediousness of removing all the wires while retaining the details of what is behind them. The chimes are real and not added, though I wouldn't have minded moving them to the right, an easy enough job. Glad you enjoyed the photo. Have a wonderful day. ~Wendell
