Boris, Some of my favorite pictures are also vertical. If you have Photoshop or other file editing programs, you can layer the vertical image into a larger canvas with a black (or other color) background and then flatten (or merge) the layers and convert the final image back to a gif or jpeg format that fits the requirement uploads. I had to do that with my image (Why" because the original file was too small to upload. Try it. The Serbian Stonehenge is a fascinating look into something most of us have never heard of. Would appreciate any info you have on the site..historical info, etc. Who built it and why?. Thanks for widening my world.
Jacked: My "fetish" let's say are photos of things that are now different and changed for good.... For exaple, there is an field, and I know that in 2 years there will be a building/hotel, parking, park, Shopping Center, I just have to take a picture of situation what it is at the moment, for the memory I guess :))) What can I do, I'm a nostalgic person ;) That is a little bit of explanation of your great photo
Yeah, I could do that :) It crossed my mind, but at the moment I didn't like the idea. OK, I'll post (I think) 3 more photos, and if you like it, I can go there again to take some more of them, on one sunny day like that was :)) OK, you'll have some more pics soon ;)
And from the historical side... Well, I wrote on the topic. There was a sort of student competition from Architect Technical University in history subject :) There was one guy, about 10 years ago, that made this project, and it won. And there it is now. Pretty interesting thing for hanging out. there is a lake in the back of the pic if you noticed. It's a first place in Belgrade for people to go out for a little sun-catch, and swim. And a "Stonehange" is most oftena meeting place :) Pretty popular here... Modern Art :)
Thanks Boris for your interest in my photo.
Sound you Mokra Gora Mountains? The bears are from there because somebody fired the mother bear unfortunately. Now, they are reintroduced in the wilderness.
Luck for you and for your country.
Mokra Gora??? beautiful place... I don;t know if you've been to it's peaks. It's wonderful :) What was your job there anyway?? I didn't know that there was people doing such noble thing down there, but it's sure hell of a thing :)
hi mr.gotic! i saw your works just this morning and i must say that you have some strong shoots there. i like one with pidgeon in circle, those happy but quiet tree beckgrounding by full blue sky, that Kalemegdan stuff.. (btw, i notice that you hate one- word-comments, so i try my best). especially i like the "sank.." one. i love your comment that tide ruins even beautiful things (tide just dont ask..but humans can ask and heard). just for my curiosity: jel to potopljen - fićo, dobri stari figguar..?
Hi! I just happened to look at your photo "Serbian Stonehenge" and wondered if you are a native of Serbia. My father is from Kosovo, so I was just curious :)
fala na komentaru za "st. euphemiju"..cijenim sugestiju, "vidim" o cemu pricas. no mene je tad bila "pukla" ova perspektiva preko trave kroz lukove do trave na donjoj terasi a tamo negdje u pozadini Moje More..
Thanks for the comment on (Burnin' Down The House). That one was taken not far from (Backyard Paradise) and you can actually see the boat in (Backyard Paradise) that we were on when this one was taken. Again, I'm glad you enjoyed it and thanks for taking the time to comment :)
Hello Boris. Thanks for visiting my "Serenity". Actually no I'm not a pro in the sense that I do it for a living. I'm just a working stiff. I'm a QA Manager in a manufacturing facility. Photography is what I do to keep sane, Thanks again. I really appreciate your comments.
I've just been looking over your photographs and must say they are quite impressive.
photoimagery: Heh dude, I just had to ask :) It's a pretty good idea, shooting photos to "stay alive", I'm doing something like that myself. Like the rest of the people here I'm sure :))
Thanks for the comment for my works, I'm trying :)

I wrote your name in my heart and forever it will stay........."
My Search, was taken in southern Indiana, where i live. I like to get up early when it's foggy and drive around till i find a good shot. Thanks Boris for your time and comment, it is much appreciated. Dwight.
People are like stained-glass windows.
They sparkle and shine when the sun is out,
but when the darkness sets in,
their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.

Yes thanks for your comment on pile up I know but the original was way to large I have to make all my pics smaller to put them on hear plus it was a bright day so I had to photoshop the sky a little Thanks again...
Boris, thanks for stopping by "Balmy". I am glad you like it, although I am not sure it is fit to be your desktop in comparison to the other images on this site. Just out of curisoity, where is Serbia? :-)
Hi Boris
Thanks for your comment on "luxembourg"
I guess you are right..it has some sadness in it...I must admit i just saw that when you pointed me to that.
I like it anyway.
Thanks Boris for the very nice comments on my Amicalola Creek 2 image. If you take a close look, you can see the early signs of Fall. I'm glad that you like it. This was in open shade taken at iso 50, f11 and about 1/20 exposure. I also used a slow fill flash to lighten the shadows.

Hello Boris. The highest dune in the Namid is 380 m high. We needed 1h30 to go up. Very hard and long, because you need to walk a long way on the crest. Thanks for the feedback :-)
Thanks Boris for the post on Farm Yard - you may be right about the framing. im not sure. Im not a huge fan of following rules and formats in photography and prefer just to wing it. occasionally this comes back and bites me in the ass though :-)
Hi Boris, thanks for your comment on "Chasing the sky". In a matter of fact that upper right corner doesn't look well for me also, but this picture was taken in motion, while driving and thinking fast while mooving is difficult. :) I liked both you in-church pictures, the second one is just gorgeous! I'm a big fan of your work! :)
Thanks for the kind comment on 'Enter In', it's much appreciated! Actually, this was taken in the woods near my home. :) But now that you mention it...it does look like it should be over there instead!
Hi Boris, thanks for your comments on "Sunset in Bansko" and "Miami". "Sunset in Bansko" was taken a while ago in Bulgaria. It was a sentimental memory of my country and I never thought before to uplode it anywhere. I made it my first picture here, because I wanted to show this place to the world. :) Thanks again for the support and keep the good stuff coming! :)
Hi Boris im glad you liked 'Midnight in Finland'. Im sorry the resolution wasnt bigger but i had to try and fit all my pics on the cameras memory card so i had to make them small. :(

Yes, Ancient Road signs.. I found the ones in North America across the canadian border are created by the native culture and are called inuksuit. http://www.civilization.ca/archeo/inuksuit/inukinte.html is an interesting site describing some cultures that create them.
Really interesting stuff.
Hoi Boris, i did a wallpaper check on "mountains" and came accross your gallerie page. I have had a good time viewing it, and have replied at some Switzerland images, great work.
I also liked the rework image of the bridge very much, i have added it to my favorits.
Thanks for sharing your work here with us.
Hello Boris...Many thanks for taking the time to have a look at (HALLOWEEN) and for your comments, It is very much appreciated...Enjoy the celebrations...All the best...Mick.
Thanks Boris,
This photograph " O, La, La," was really a surprise for me, because I could not at all see what I did. And then the largest surprise is then how the mushroom sees to the lower part. Thanks for you fine and favourable responses.

Thanks for the comment on Sun Serra...I usually tend to make my images a little darker than they should be. Thanks for letting me know, I wont make it so dark next time. :)
Hello Boris... many thanks for dropping by to view picturesque “Monte Pelmo II” of Dolomite Alps...very pleased it caught your eye and I appreciate your thoughtful comments... I suppose there is nothing more beautiful in winter than stately looking mountains and trees dressed in Mother Nature's best lace…

Hi, thanks for your comment on the zebra, it was a close up through a glass window actually, its how it came off the camera, no cropping! i couldnt get a good shot of the whole zebra through the glass, so thought id go for a close up instead! glad you enjoyed it
Hello Boris. Thank you for your comments and query about “Swoop”. I used a 70 – 200mm zoom lens. The photo was cropped to a point where the quality was about to fall apart. It’s always good to get suggestions about my photos, it gets me thinking :-)
