Hey there! I'm so glad you liked my pic though I'm sorry for your minus 7 degrees ! Just joking! I guess we hit off an early start with spring over here, what can I say!
Hello Hukka, thanks a ton for the nice comment on "Little Port Sunset", I took a break away from the city and turned out to be an excellent opportunity for some photography, you can see another pic of the same island here.
Have a lovely day,
Maria
Hello, my name is Naomi. I was wondering if I could use your images for my layouts at http://www.xanga.com/Simply_Lov3able_Layouts? I made a layout using your "Moment of Peace" image; URL to layout: http://www.xanga.com/lov3able_layout_74. I gave you credit by linking to your gallery. One link is in the navigational bar, and another in the code itself.
Anyway, I just wanted to make sure it was OK to use your images for my layouts; they're SO beautiful!
Hello 'Hukka', Thank you ever so much for your lovely comments about 'View From My Window' and yes, you're absolutely right - the effect a flag... I think the French flag is vertical triads of rblue, white and red, isn't it? I'm pleased you like the picture and thanks for making time to comment on it.
Hey thanks for the great comment on "proteus".. Flattered to hear what you think, and i really appreciate it.. feedback like that is what's made me keep trying to get better.
And thanks for the comments on "raindrops".. and "out on the town".. that one was fun to make, albeit time consuming.. glad you got a kick out of it ;P
Thanks you for your kind comments upon From Behind: The Gooderham FlatIron Building.
It is really quite an impressive mural. However, I must admit the shadows were coincidence. In fact I do not think the shadows
on the mural are consistant within themselves.
If you ever in Toronto I will show it to you, there is a pub across the road where we can discuss at length.
I am glad you liked Reflections III.
The title is a tad un-imaginative; but at the time I was taking the picture I trying to stay with a reflection theme and the title just sorta stuck.
Thanks my Nordic friend for your comments on "Silent Conversation 2"
Hows the weather in Finland? In Sweden we had 30 degress today...
Nääkemiin! ( Wrong spelled i guess :) )
Hey there Hukka! Nice to hear from you again, how are u? Thanks a ton for the nice comment on "Santorini Cliffs" I appreciate it a lot! Santorini is my favorite of the islands, the view is just amazing. The story is that it used to be perfectly round until a volcano exploded thousands of years ago and half of the island shunk in the sea creating those cliffs you see in my picture. So glad u liked it,
Maria
Hi Hukka, nice to meet you and thank you for stopping by to view and comment on Oasis...I am very glad you enjoyed it and appreciate your favorable feedback...I agree, it does look very inviting.:Pat.
Heeeeey there,
thanks so much for the nice comment on "Santa cutie" I appreciate it a lot, glad u like it.
Merry Christmas to you and your family! All the best,
Maria
Thanks for the comments on 'Misty Sunset' very much appreciated. Do you know that if it weren't for Photoshop there would be no professional photographers?

Hi Tero, well I just hope someone puts a link to your video on the front page, because I think it is amazing and should be promoted. It is not only good for the site, but promotes your talent too! well done! Patti

Yeah, I submitted it to the news, but apparently they did not approve. Or maybe they will, later. It has been three days already, maybe they will not approve at all, dunno why they wouldn't tho..
"Dusk On Center Lake", "Autumn In The Park" and "Reflections of Nature #2", I sure do appreciate the very kind comments on these images. I would have been so honored to have some of them included in your video. That was such a wonderful job on your part. Thank you, sandi
The funny thing is, I noticed the exact same thing about the tree you mentioned immediately after I had posted the photo. I thought I was just being nit-picky, but I'm glad someone else noticed it as well. I'll re-crop it, and post it again.
thanks so much for the comment on "Reflection in Lake Louise"!
and yes, it would be great if you touched it up in photoshop. i'd like to see your version of it. :]
thanks again!

Hukka, Your encouraging comments on "admiral's arch" are truly appreciated. Experiencing this awesome sight was a highlight of a visit to Kangaroo Island, Australia.
Hey, thanks for the comments on my ghost tree and quiet mountains. :-) Very encouraging and much appreciated. Oddly enough I was thinking of your blue bear photo yesterday; there was a photo with very similar colour schemes... looking at your bear, I was thinking of something that could make a Christening or birthday card, with white silk or satin for the bear to sit on, to give it a luxurious, celebratory feel... but the other photo had quite a lot of dark blue and shadows, and it did work. Which just shows what I know (not all that much). ;-)
Thanks so much for your visit and comments at Cherry Jubilee ! I'm so glad you like it!
I have resized the image per your request, so if you send me your e-mail via PM, I can send it to you. Right now it's in .png format, but if you need a different format, just let me know. Thanks again :)
Helloo there! Thanks for your comment on summer stars... ur from finland!? Whats it like there?! I'm sure its awesome! I have to agree with you autumn nights were always the best for star gazing! The smell of the air, the little chill... ahhhh... I got myself wanting to make time for star gazing even more now! ;) You're around my age- life seems to be getting busier around now! I just hope it slows down at some point so we can get to enjoy the stars and clouds again! Thanks for your comment! I'm glad you shared your memories with me- It really cheered me up!
Thanks for spending the time to browse through my gallery, I see you like Banksy [Tourists] I just love the sarcastic wit of the artist.

Good day Tero, thanks for adding "Golden Sky" to your favorites and for your kind comments. Very much appreciated and glad you enjoyed the view. Have a great day and wonderful weekend. ~Wendell
Coleoptera Thank you for the critique and complements Tero. I appreciate it. As for showing the whole bug, This shot was actually much the way you see it. The cropped space was mostly empty space. Very hard to get the little bugger in the frame! It kept getting away from me, walking around on top of the glass. :0)

Hello Tero,
thank you so much for the faves on "Frosty Morning Sunrise" and "Summertime..10", I really appreciate it a lot! I also want to thank you so much for taking the time to view and leave such kind comments on several others of my posts. Thank you!
Thanks for the recent comment on "gazing out the window". Creating the cage window was time consuming but good practice at a time when I was learning to use a cloning tool. Glad you liked the result.
hi my friend! firstly thanks for nice comment on "waterway". that photo was taken in Manavgat waterfall. water is very cold and very clear. also Manavgat has the highest water flow waterfall in Türkiye.
Thank you for your enthusiastic and wonderful comments on Spiced Lamb Shish Kebabs. It is so great that you like the photo, I was hoping that it looked good enough to tempt people to want to eat some. You made my morning. I had a browse through your gallery, you have excellent photos there, especially the textures (I like that style very much) and your sunsets are stunning. Thank you again.

Thanks for the great comment on Monster Landscape -- I think I must be frighteningly used to these colours, LOL. But the monster appreciates your feedback. :-P
Thank you for the comment on "Field of round straw bales (5)",it is very nice of you.I see what you mean about the trees, when you take photos then a few of them can have a background that is darker than the rest of the photo, there is a difference of lighting,it is sensible. The trees are green on my monitor,it is not too dark, however i understand what you mean,it is slightly dark.Have a good week.
Hello Tero,
thank´s so much for the very kind words and for the fave on "Wistful Lady", it is very much appreciated.
It is a computer creation mostly done in Photoshop. I also used Virtual Painter to create the painted look. Thank´s again!
Thanks for your comment on the image "relaxing by the beach" i realized the mistake regarding the horizon once it was uploaded though it could have been easily removed. Really appreciated. Mahir :)
Thank you for the nice comment on "Two straws please" I wish the focus was a little better. Hard to do on 2 butterflies let alone one. Maybe I should have centered it more like you said, thanks for the advice.
Thanks for the comment on my Big sunflower shot. That was a fun shot with the way it turned out. I like the referance to an old movie too, that reminded me of a few as well.
Hello Tero,
thank´s so much for the fave and very good advice on "Daybreak in December", I appreciate it very much!
Also many thank´s for the kind words on "Forest Sunset", greatly appreciated! I agree with you about our Nordic autum sunsets, they are special and very moody.
Hi Tero, Thank you for comment my abstraction "Radiant Orb". Sorry for my explanation... Yes, the PS can't create the fractals. I create it with Apophysis 7 and then do "little practice" with PS. Have a wonderful holydays! ~Ilian
Hi Tero, thankyou for your comment on 'Sledging Tracks' both the positive and the constructive. I really appreciate people taking the time to say something helpful that will improve my technique :) The post has been a long time in coming. Happy New Year!
