Hej Hukka ! Nice to meet a neigbour here ! Don´t know if you are speaking Swedish...so I go on in the world language..you are absolutely right...they line in very nicely in the band..hehe...I came to think of the old band The Monkees..don´t now why..?..if you sometimes visit Stockholm I strongly recommend you to go to Skansen, a park/zoo near the city, where you can meet these charming lemures..it´s possible to walk among them in their large cage..you will enjoy it. Glad you liked the photo, thanks for commenting...and try to find a good name for the band...hehe.. (Leona & The Sunbathers...?)

Thank you for your comments on "Painted Magic". I'm pleased you liked it. This image is indeed a photograph of a very real place. About the only manipulation here is that I exhaled on the front of the lens. The outside temp was running about 40 degrees and by exhaling on the front of the lens you leave a "fog" on it. As the fog disipates you wait for the effect you want and press the shutter.

Light is that magical phenomenon that allows us to enjoy the sights of the physical world. That property grants me the ability to interpret and record the beauties of which are so vital to me: my physical environment. Each of us sees and interprets the world a little differently and I am happy to share my interpretive vision of it with you.

It is really quite an impressive mural. However, I must admit the shadows were coincidence. In fact I do not think the shadows
on the mural are consistant within themselves.
If you ever in Toronto I will show it to you, there is a pub across the road where we can discuss at length.

The title is a tad un-imaginative; but at the time I was taking the picture I trying to stay with a reflection theme and the title just sorta stuck.

Santorini is my favorite of the islands, the view is just amazing. The story is that it used to be perfectly round until a volcano exploded thousands of years ago and half of the island shunk in the sea creating those cliffs you see in my picture. Hey, thanks for the comments on my ghost tree and quiet mountains. :-) Very encouraging and much appreciated. Oddly enough I was thinking of your blue bear photo yesterday; there was a photo with very similar colour schemes... looking at your bear, I was thinking of something that could make a Christening or birthday card, with white silk or satin for the bear to sit on, to give it a luxurious, celebratory feel... but the other photo had quite a lot of dark blue and shadows, and it did work. Which just shows what I know (not all that much). ;-)

hi my friend! firstly thanks for nice comment on "waterway". that photo was taken in Manavgat waterfall. water is very cold and very clear. also Manavgat has the highest water flow waterfall in Türkiye.
