Pregnant Cow. - Hi John. Didn't have much choice on exposure.
I just spot read the cow, as there was nothing to be done for the extreme brightness of the overhead sun. Flash fill wouldn't have solved this particular situation. And, the necessary cropping helped to minimize the wash out, considerably.

Thanks John.
Just kept seeing those white fur circles, and my wierd sense of humour took over. Just couldn't talk them into turning around.
Glad you liked them anyway. They are really quite graceful, when they're running. Sure would have liked to get a shot of that.

Hmmm thanks Terri (!) *as J carefully removes boot from posterior* ;-P
My Excuse is that my PC takes about a week to render some of the things that I want to see on my screen! (lame excuse I know!) I am currently working on something Apophysis that will be up soon.
Thanks again Doug. You in comparison to myself are an artwork factory with all the quality stuff you are producing lately. (including you Terri!)

Hi John.
Glad you liked my latest pix. I'm very fortunate, to have many such sites, in every direction here. Thanks again for visiting, and the kind comments.
Yeah, I'm still in pretty good shape for my age. The dogs have kept me on the move. 5 to 7 miles a day, and through backwoods, hilly and rock terrain. Rain or shine, they have to go.

Hi John: That picture was taken with my old camera "Did U C My Car" and the resolution was not that great (2 MegPix) and blowing it up didn't help it much either, not to mention I was cold. My Daughter and her boyfriend run a pet shop (Pet World) in Sunbury Pa. and I get up there to see them a couple times a year. Beautiful Country. Thanks for the comments. Take Care, BobZee.

Hi John. That Gator rock was solid, and might have fit the full box of my truck, but I didn't have a crane.
Think I'll have to upload a wider one of the wash, so you can see the size of some of those rocks, that came down from Big Bear mountain. Everyone in the area has manageable ones on their lawn, or along their drive. Be interesting to know how old
they are.

Hi again. I had just started working at our local AM/FM/TV station in 1960, filming News and Documentaries.
That coincided with JFK's campaign for President, so I saw him a number of times, at various Press conferences, benefits, etc.
Even had some breakfast with him that day, as I showed up at his hotel suite for a Press briefing that had been postponed for an hour. I'd been out on another assignment, and went straight there, as I thought I was cutting it pretty close.
He graciously invited me in, and proceeded to pick my brain over
Canadian perceptions of the campaign.
Sometime during breakfast, I quipped, that it will be nice to have a resident in the Whitehouse, that doesn't spend most of his time on the golf course. He got a charge out of that, and I expect that's what the grin was for, in that shot, as I was the only one, of the usual press gang, at this function, as well.

hey john it was great to read your comment on my images "repercussions" and "life on mars".. i had removed all of my images last fall since i had planned on starting a small sort of print making business with images i'd made, plus the fact that many of them i didn't think were up to par with some of my newer works. Lately i haven't had much time to spend on making wallpapers, but when i find a photograph that may make a pretty cool manip project, i give it a shot. Thanks a lot for the support, i appreciate it ;]

Thanks for the comment on "Foggy Sunset At a Mountain Bay." The jaggedness of the mountain was actually post-production. The image was textured after rendering, thus was jagged.

Hi again. It is a very nice clean lake, with very few residents, and no available land. Frontenac Park has most all of the opposite side, and access to the Park is 25 miles away.

Yep. Those beavers have very large chompers, and practically every resident has lost trees to them, at one time or another.
