Thank you Alicia for the comment on "Stream Song". I appreciate your desire for a image without a border. Sometimes I just like an image so much that I feel it should have a frame. This image however I used the frame becuase there was scenery I just couldn't remove to make a full desktop:-)
Alicia, I'm glad you liked "Superstition Mts in Arizona at Sunset" and "Heralding Spring". I see you live in Marquette MI. I used to travel to Charlevoix every winter. Lrt's see the last time I was there the temp was -25 degrees. I got a neat image of Big Rock Point Nuclear Power Station all surrounded with ice from the lake. I think I will post it tonight. Take a look if you like. Thanks again for your comments. I just looked over another image and there you are agian. Thanks for the comments on "The Giver of Life"
Hi Alicia, and thnks for your nice comments on Brandywine 7, Indigo A2 and The Green Heron Speaks. I really appreciate your taking time to comment on so many of my shots! Nice Logo by the way. Ever seen a Raven in the wild? They're pretty cool, and sound nothing at all like crows.
Thanks Alicia for viewing and commenting on my River Walk 2 image. I'm glad that you enjoyed it. Right now it only goes about 2 miles. It will be extended about 10 or 12 more miles and be on both sides of the river.

But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.

Thanks to you for the commentary in "Un paseo por las nubes" (A walk along the clouds)
Ah, my favorite Oboist returns to my pages recently. I am adding "Oboist" to my list of possible image names, hopefully something appropriate will come along. They should make Oboist cereal, Oboist cars, I would fly on Oboist airlines, I could name my dog Oboe, you could be CEO of Oboist Corp. 'How much did that cost'? ... 'Dude, it was only 6 Oboes' would be heard in malls all over America. Children, from an early age, should be told that they, too, can someday be elected to the office of 'Oboist'.
"And [Adolf Hitler] was a – a vegetarian and a painter, so he must have been going, 'I can’t get the f***ing trees – d***! I will kill everyone in the world!'"
Thank-You for your honest opinion. It's in an artist's best interest to take both critique and appreciation. It's the only way I'll learn personally. I am an amateur looking to learn and understand Photography. Please come back and look sometime and feel free to give ideas.
Hello Alicia! I want to thank you for your nice comments on my White Owl photo. I'm very glad that you liked it enough to take the time to vote and send me a comment. Sometimes these images just pop into my brain.

Hello Alicia..WOW, thank you mucho for all your comments on some of the creations in my gallery..it's very nice of you to take a peek. I certainly do appreciate it!!
oboist...now there's a word I don't see very often, for some reason it makes me smile. I took a look @ your web site and saw how your afraid of zombies (like who isn't,all they do is eat you alive and turn you into one)but I always felt you could out run the suckers..pretty slow. The wolfman? Forget about it, fast, agile and and could rip off your head. Ummm, I'd take the zombies ;-)
Thank you for commenting on 'Similar Objects' and 'My Whole World'. I love music, even when it *does* seem to be taking over my life!
Hmm, you're an oboist? I tried playing oboe for a couple weeks last summer, but then I gave up and stuck to clarinet. :) The oboe is an absolutely beautiful instrument!
Thankyou for your comment on "The Chubby Horse that Wasnt". I glad you like my work, this happens to be my favourite piece because of the story that goes with it. And the foal was just adorable too!
thanks so much for all your comments! lol im honored that some of my pieces made it into your favourites gallery. :) and yes my border collie is quite a handfull, always playing and never stops. :)
Hi, Alicia! I´m really glad you took a closer look at "Furrows" , the modified oak bark. Nice to see that this pic wasn´t totally forgotten. You ask me how I changed it. To be honest I really don´t remember and I didn´t write it down. But I made some new tests with the original pic and I think I used the Photoshop (6.0) tools "Paint daubs" and "Fresco" in combination. Another useful tool is "Cutout". If you have Photoshop installed you can make some experiments for yourself with one of your pics or, if you want, my original to "Furrows". I send it to you by mail if you like! / Arne

I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.
Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
Thanks for the comment on "Shadow, light, and sky" I'm glad you liked it. :)
From the front view the humanities buildings, the one in the photo, and the classroom building look more like office buildings than anything else. <shrugs> We don't get the pretty architecture in out part of the campus :-P
Thank you Alicia for your kind comments on "Sticking Out". Yes the old dam has past into history and I'll have to search for something else to photograph.
Hello Alicia, Many thanks for your comments about “Gap Creek Falls”, This place has become one of my favourite places for quite contemplation. I’m pleased you like it too.
