Happy Valentine's Day everyone. As always, thanks in advance for any and all comments.
Bob PS... this was done with the Oly 70-300 lens. I love the bokeh of this lens!!
Hi Bob, thanks for the comments on "Country Roads"! No, I dont have PS..pretty bare bones here. Just a small digital camera & the software that went with it. Kind of challenges me that way I guess. lol Wish I would have had a nice sunny day to work with that day, but was real cloudy & grey. Maybe someday I'll upgrade! lol Thanks again!
Hi Bob, thanks for the comments on "Golden Rain". Its not one of my better captures but I was still intrigued enough to put it out there. Glad you liked it.
Hey there Bob, glad you're here at Caedes and welcome. Thanks for adding me as a friend, I've done the same so we can check each others images out. p.s. you won't see much photography from me though, I buy one of those throw away cameras when I need to take some pictures.(Not much good at it) Take care Robert.
Bob, thanks for the comments on Ring Neck. I chose that angle due to the pheasants head being cocked in that position & also the background at any other angle was far less than ideal. It's in a downtown area surrounded by parked cars, bustling people, etc.
Hello again Bob,
Thanks for your kind words regarding Afternoon Delight. I have always had a love for photographing butterflies. You dont have to tell them to smile and they dont talk back. They just fly away when they are bored. Im glad you liked it. Have a great weekend.
Tracey
Hey Bob, thanks for your comments on Bridge in the Night. I was looking at your gallery and you have some neet stuff. I'll keep watching for more... Steve
Hello Bob,
Thanks for your comments on Love is a canvas. I am way behind in my thankyous. As i have been busy this week processing these wedding photo. The couple was thrilled with this one in particular. Thank God. I always worry. Will they like this or won't they. Thanks a million for all your comments. I'm sorry you didn't find pretty in pink as appealing.
Tracey
Bob,
Thks for stopping by “Place of Dreams”. This is an old slide that I restored using photo shop. It was taken some 20 years ago somewhere in Texas by a stream. I blurred it up a little for the contest. Doubt that it will win anything but I like it.

Ref: Loyuisiana Plantation Bedroom: Oh durn, that term never came to mind. I wish it had-Honey Pot! Good one! Thks for stopping by. I really appreciate it.

Reference Bad Hair Day: That was quite a dissertaion on "Woolie Boogers". I had no idea they were called that. Never heard that term aplied to a storm before. Thks for stopping by and stay OUT of those Woolie Boogers.

Hello and Thankyou Bob
Thanks for commenting on All That Jazz. I had fun putting this together.
Glad you liked it. I wish there were drums at this wedding reception. Just a saxaphone and guitar player. It was a very elegant reception.

Howdy Bob,
I want to thank you for taking a look at Goodnight And Sleep Tight. I think I love sunsets better than anything other class of subjects to shoot. Your opinion is highly valued.
Pat
Hi Bob,
Thanks so much for viewing another sunset of mine. I almost failed to capture this one. There was no color until the last minute and then all of a sudden, BOOM, the sky exploded into a blaze of color and then it was gone. It was sort of like God suddenly pulled the window shade down.

Ref: "Hand painted By The Master". Gotcha on the DOF but what is IHMO? I wasn't even going to post this because it violates my policy of complete and sharp focus throughout a picture. But, I did it anyway because of it's beauty.
Hey, by the way, I am ready to post your version of "Winding Path To Home" as soon as can make a link to the original. I havn't figured it out yet. Someone told me how. Will work on it.
Pat
So good to have you back Bob. How is the ole ticker doing? Take it easy, puhleeze. We want to keep you here with us. Thks for visiting My Space. I really appreciate you taking the time to comment.
Pat
Thank you for your comment on "Insect on Daisy". That was really good advice. For some reason, cropping it never even occured to me. I'll give it a try!
But if the world could remain within a frame like a painting on a wall, then I think we would see the beauty. Then we would stand staring in awe at our still lives posed like a bowl of oranges, like a story told by the fault lines and the soil.

You wrote: Great shot, Pat, and I love how you completely blew the rules out the window. (You're not supposed to have the horizon in the center of the frame).
You know, you are right and for some reason I never noticed it. It just didn't jump out at me like it normally would. Hummmmmm...
Thks for stopping by "Bayou Beauty". I think this one is going to turn out to be one of my favorites. Something about the lighting-very strange for a high noon capture.
Pat
Great comments Bob on my image "Lets Go Fishing". Your right about no point of focus, that's why it's a hum drum photo.
I do have a shot of the fallen tree in the water and I will be posting it soon.

You wrote: "it is a tad busy, and I don't see the subject. Just my $.02 in a $10 world."
You are right. It is busy. After it was up and running I decided I didn't like it, and thought of pulling it but then decided to leave it there and see what happens.

Sheep is centered because it was intentional. Background on either side is ugly so why have more of it? The center is the norm for most images but not to be followed 100 per cent. I felt the sheep being centered for this image works. Thks for stopping by.

You wrote: "Nice, Pat. Did you begin with a RAW file?"
Yes, actually I used three raw files at different exposures and then combined them. Thks for stopping by.

Hi! Thanks for your feedback on 'Autumn glow'. You're right about the blue band, but I have no idea what "cloned out" means. The most I do is crop 'em. I guess I have a lot to learn! :)
Hi Bob, Thank you kindly for your visit and great comments on Joy to the World ! I'm delighted that you like it, and that it caught your eye! Much appreciated :)
Lori
Welcome to Caedes! And thanks for adding me as a friend!
