LynEve's Journal (5 entries)

Liverpool Landscape Uploaded: 09/02/17 2:33 PM GMT

Image: Liverpool Landscape

This is two photos I have stitched together and quite a lot of editing done. I did not take them but have the permission of the phone photographer (my son) to use them. They were taken late afternoon yesterday from the window of his friend's apartment. Not a bad view to see each day !
I have it on my desktop so I may indulge in a bit of nostalgic homesickness :)

The leaving of Liverpool by the Dubliners You may care to have a listen to this. The video features some old photos of this area and it is interesting to see how it has changed, and what buildings are still there.
I hope you like it and thank you for any comments which are always much appreciated.

Welcome Lyn to Caedes, your first image is so clear and beautiful and well framed. It would help if you could post at a higher resolution so a lot more people could download it for a background. Will be looking for some more of you nice images. Dwight.

Thankyou Dwight, I am very inexperienced with this. I did try uploading it at 1752x1168 but message said it was too big so I went down to 1024x683. but I am not sure if this is what you mean. Not only inexperienced but dumb with it :) Any help appreciated.

Hello Lyn....Thankyou for your kind words on (WENDRON CHURCH) they are very much appreciated....The church is not very far from me....The parish of Wendron stretches north-east from the town of Helston in Cornwall which was part of the parish until 1845. The Church is from the 14th and 15th centuries and consists of a pinnacled porch, inside in a corner of the transept are the roodloft stairs.....All the best...Mick.

Hi Eve, thanx for your nice comment. Unfortunately there are only a few sheep on the photo. I often tried to take a "portrait" photo of one sheep but every time I came closer they ran away. Didn't imagine that it would be so difficult to catch them with my camera... I really like your flower pictures! Greetings from the other side of the world... Martina

Kia Ora again Eve,

Thanks for your comments on 'Ahtanum Mission,' I appreciate it. The snow is about three miles up the road from here and plenty of it.
