Hi Matt. I'm glad you liked "Bedding Down". They really are beautiful animals aren't they? I'll bet this thing weighed close to 800 lbs. Thanks for the visit.
No problems, I have a habit of looking through the galleries of authors that happens to catch my attention with a good piece. :) I could clarify perhaps and say that I did like "Glory Light #2" better then "Glory Light" after all. Even if it's more grainy (usually nothing one can do anything about) the ripples in #2 is so pleasing to the eye that it comes off as the winner of those two.

If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.
"This existence of ours is as transient as Autumn clouds. To watch the birth and death of beings is like looking at the movements of a dance. A lifetime is a flash of lightning in the sky. Rushing by, like a torrent down a steep mountain. "

Hi Matt...thanks a lot for your great comments on Bridge Over Colored Waters...glad you liked it...I hope to redo that one this year when the leaves have turned and yes I will try for a larger size next time...I appreciate your visit and feedback.:Pat.
Hey, thanks for the comment on my shot of the little bridge. It was taken right by the universtity. There is a small duck pound in there, kinda between brentwood C-train station, and the UofC. There is one of those strange fitness things around it too.
"A piece of toast with butter always lands butter side down, and a cat always lands on its feet. What happens if a piece of toast is tied butter side down to the back of falling cat? Does it hover above the ground in perpetual indecision?"
Good day Matt,
I am sorry that I have not answered your comment sooner. I was on holiday in your wonderful country, I was in Ontario. I was visiting another Caedes member that lives in Guelph.. Canada is beautiful and I hope to visit Calgary someday soon. To answer your question about my Buddhist Temple image. The temple is located in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. That is the main island that everyone goes to.

Hello Matt:
Thanks for the comments on "My Name Ain't Teddy". I'm pleased you like it.
Let's see I was using a Canon F-1 with a 500mm lens with a 1.4 doubler on it, so it was effectively a 700mm lens. The bear was, as you can see, lounging so it paid little attention to me. I was about 75 ft (23 meters) from it. I got the shot and left very quietly.
Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning.

Thanks for the comment on "Twice". I always shoot in color and then convert just in case I like the color version better. It makes a difference because Photoshop allows you to do a black and white conversion in a certail color channel, and the results can be very different.
Thanks for all your support and all the kind comments that you have left on my latest images. Im glad that you liked and I hope that you enjoy the ones to come.
Nothing wrong with a plug if it comes from someone else. It looked amazing to me. Sure, we may not be able to mount up and ride our steeds for this venture ... but a 225 Merc will suffice. :oP
