Thanks Christina for the comments on my Crawfordville Predator image. This spider was about 11/2 inch across. I wouldn't want to play with him. Thanks for viewing and commenting.

Rain Drop Flower was some potted flowers that I bought for my wife on Valentines Day. She planted them in the yard and I went out in the rain to take this photo. Thanks Christina for the lovely comments. I'm glad that you like it.

Rain Drop Flower 2 is a Camellia bud washed in a gentle rain. Thanks Christina for taking the time to view and comment on this image. I appreciate your nice comments.

thanks Christina for the post on my Cayman GT shot - if you get the chance, check out the GTR version which features a few fixes and refinements or for a change of pace (and grace) the Camargue - another photochop car exercise :-)

Thanks Christina for the nice comments on my Bee Blossom image. I love making these close-up shots but it's often hard getting these little guy to hold still long enough to lock in the focus.

Bee Bloom 3 is another shot of this years Cherry Blossoms and Bee visitors. Now the little buggers are boring holes in my house again. Thanks Christina for the nice comments on this image.
Russ
Me again. Thank you for viewing and commenting on "Simple flowers". These flowers are not easy to capture because they are very, very small and, as all my photos, this is a scanned old 35mm colour slide - my camera is not digital. Thanks again, Christina.
Cheers.
António.
Hello Christina! Yellow Rose 3 is one of the few roses that's planted in my back yard. Thanks for the lovely coments on this image. I'm glad you like it. This was a test shot trying a different lighting style.
Russ
Hello Christina! Thanks for commenting on my Yellow Rose 2 image. This was another test photo to check the effect of a diffused flash. I'm glad that you enjoyed it.
Russ
Hello Christina! The bug hidden in my Hidden Danger image appears to be the same type bug that's in my Yellow Rose 3 image. Thanks for the nice comments.

My You looking at me photo was taken on a foot bridge crossing a dam on a lake in North Georgia. This Bold Jumping Spider was very agressive towards the camera when I moved close to take a photo. Thanks Christina for the nice comments.
Russ
Thanks Christina for viewing my Bud Life image. I appreciate your support of my photos. These little guys found shelter in this rose from a thunderstorm we had earlier that morning.
Russ
Hello Christina! Thanks for viewing and commenting on my Little Green Spider photo. I was searching my yard for things to photograph when I found this little guy on the end of a leaf. I know this isn't an insect but I don't think caedes has a spider section. This is a macro at the cameras extreme settings.
Russ
Sleeping Bear was lying close to the front wall of the bear enclosure at Dauset Trails in Middle Georgia. I had to lean over the rail and put the lens of the camera through a chain link fence to get the shot. Thanks Christina for the nice comments on this image.

Hello Christina. You have the same beautiful colours in N.B.
Glad you liked mine. Not much of a fog, compared to some I've experienced, in your area. Thanks for visiting, and commenting.
Thank you Christina! I'm glad that you took the time to leave that nice comment on my images. I appreciate your support and value your opinion. I enjoy your gallery of beautiful computer images.

The Pest was a little bit of a manipulation. I blurred everything outside of the center of the flower then added a slight sandstone texture. Thanks Christina for the nice comments and for viewing this image. I appreciate your support.

Lifes a Beach is a photo of the hotel we stayed in over Memorial Day Weekend. I spent hours searching the web trying to find a room and everything was booked for several hunderd miles from here. We just hopped in the car and headed for the Gulf Coast and found a room at the first place we stopped at. It turned out to be a great time. Thanks Christina for viewing and commenting on this image.

I grew up in Florida and these lovely flowers were everywhere. They are pretty but if I remember correctly, the sap from these bushes will stain your clothes. Thanks Christina for viewing and commenting on my Hibiscus image. I'm glad you like it. I used a fill flash to fill in the dark shadows from the intense sun.

Her Majesty was a lioness laying next to the glass at Bush Gardens. The background was severly washed out and didn't look good. I replaced it with a flower spiral in the park. Thanks Christina for taking the time to view and comment on this image.

Window View is a shot of one of the roses in an arrangement next to the window of a florest shop. This particular window looks into the cold storage area of the shop and has condensation on the glass. The camera lens was placed against the glass to remove reflection and create this soft image. Thanks Christina for viewing and commenting on this image.

Thanks Christina for your kind comments on my Gorge shots. I am glad you enjoyed them .. I lived in St Stephen for close to 20 years and before that lived in a small community called Pocologan and graduated from ECRS ( St George High School). My daughter and her family still live in the area.

1936 Beachwear is a look at life from the past. Back then gas was $.19 a gallon and a new car was less than $800.00. This is a reminder that our images have the potential to out live us and allow future generations to see what our time was like. Thanks Christina for the nice comments.

I love this site and everyone I've met has stimulated my artistic side in some way or another. I am embarrassed to say this, but I guess I've missed this message portion of Caedes all this time, as I have just spent the last hour and a half reading over all the kind comments and thanks from ppl to whom I have left posts on their uploads. I usually drop a personal message when ppl comment on mine, but I suppose this is a better way to do it. So my apologies to all...I'll endeavor to do a better job in the future. Every time I turn around on here, there is yet something more to explore, so I want to thank each and every one of you for all your kind comments and the time you take to look at our posts and leave a line or two. I'm sure enjoying my photographic side much more now that I've found this site and all the wonderful ppl on it :)PJ
P.S. added to this overall message.. ty especially

Thanks for the comments on Tenacious Tendril...I'm glad it's not my woodpile to take care of, but I'm glad someone else didn't get around to trying to get the darned thing off yet :)PJ

Christina, nice to see you stopped by *Boston My Home Town*.
When I'm there, I don't get to shop much - just visit the relatives :)
I appreciate your comments and hope you get to visit Boston.
Best wishes, Carolyn

Victorian Bushfire 1: Thanks for your good wishes. It has been a rough time for the whole state. It may take many years to recover and learn how to live in harmony with our dry landscape. The liekelihood is that it will get much worse as the climate warms before it gets better.
