Thanks for the compliments on "Dream Catcher", really appreciate it :)
The highest is 1600x1200, and I usually don't even think about it lol. My native resolution is 1280x1024, but I'll keep that in mind. The fractals I generate now take about 1.5 hours to render at 1280x1024, but I usually work pretty hard on them so, I'll try. Thanks again.
Thanks for you comments on Little Hippo, Electric pole and Celica. He's actually a little thing that my wife picked up somewhere and sits in my living room! He does look like he could be a salt shaker though! :)
I do love those colors Red, Blue and Gray as well!
Thanks Greg for taking the time to view and comment on my image. I'm glad that you liked Off Broadway Delicatessen. Take time to look into the window and see the detail of the deli. I like the shadow detail in the window the best.

Hey, Thanks for your comment on my image. I love the shore it's so nice, but then too many people realize that too, and it gets crowded and less peaceful. :- /
Hey Greg. Thanks for commenting on "my little buddy". It's surrounded by little rocks. I don't know how it does it. It's 107 deg F here and it's still shining anew and fresh
Hola Greg! Thanks a bunch for taking a look at my 'model' shot in the forums. I'm glad you liked it! I'm trying to build up enough confidence to start shooting people other than my girlfriend, gotta work on my goofball-ness too! :) take care!
i apologize for my delay in replying to all of your wonderful comments...i am busy working a couple of jobs and enjoying the last summer with my friends
I'm not a professional photographer but I enjoy sharing my work with everyone and viewing other peoples work.

Hey Greg, i've thinking about your dream.
Possible meaning of "Dream":
You are looking for protection (sphere) of influence from outside (flashes), when you're on travels (wings).
Would you do a trip soon?
Thanks Greg for the comments on my squirrel picture “On The Fence”. For the photo buffs this picture as well as most of my other squirrel pictures were taken with the Canon 100-400 zoom
A beginner with photography. I just got my Nikon D40 a few days ago and I am absolutely obsessed with it. Any comments on my pictures is well appreciated.

Hey! Thank you for your kind comment on my picture Autumn's treasures - I used three different kinds of colored paper; white, light yellow and orange. I intented to leave the pictures in color, thats why the different colors. But when I changed them to B&W just to try out, they came out so well that I left it that way. :) So yeah, paper's just the answer :-)
Thanks for your comment on Evening River. To answer your question, yes, the picture was taken with a ND filter that allowed me to use a longer shutter speed to get that effect. Thanks for looking.

Hi Greg! Thanks for your kind words on 'Spider's world 2'.
Just many patience, a lot of photos (raw format), delete 90 % of them after first viewing and PS work on the 10% :-)
Actually, I don't use a tripod because my tripod is not very good. Maybe my next purchase...
The macro work is fantastic. I'm ok with the others about the macro extension tube, but they need to put your lens at a few centimeters from the subjet. With my 150 mm Sigma, the distance is ± 30 cm. Very different for an insect, a butterfly...
Happy Christmas to you and yours!
Hey Greg, thanks for the comment on "Tides of Dash Point", it was a great find, i happened upon it one day going too far down the beach, lucky i had my camera on me.
Heya Greg!
Thanks for the lovely comment on Elfstones - it made me giggle :P And in answer to what you said about me saying I messed up, I had to say it because you always get one really annoying person criticising every tiny, little detail in your painting (lol, I can't be doing with it y'know....whatever, deal with it :P)
Take care,
Sup Greg..
thanks for commenting on "mokolua moonrise"

I don't remember the shutter speed for my melting picture, and the original file with the relevant exif data is hidden away on a cd some place, but i would imagine the f stop was as wide open as it could go. I likely took that one at around 70mm, with my kit lens, so that would mean the f stop was around 4.5 or so. Also it would have been iso 200. It was a pretty sunny day so i would guess it was 1/1000 or faster, but i don't really know.
The real thing that saved me for that shot was using drive mode. That way i just started taking pictures when i thought a drop was about to fall. Then i didn't have to worry about timing it right.
