Hi Molly, welcome to Caedes. That was an interesting story about the capture. Thank you for the good words you left on "Killdeer Return". Have a good time here:-)
G'day Molly,
Glad the barbed wire shot gave you something to "see". Thanks for sharing your steely insights. (Couldn't resist, sorry.) Welcome to Caedes, a whole universe of great photographs and fractals here and some nice and helpful and talented people as well.
Peace,
Mikel.
G'day again Molly,
I notice your tag says everyone takes better pictures than you. Trust me, it's not true. :) Not unless all your photos are out of focus, over exposed and crooked. lol. If you can appreciate what's good in the photos you see (And by your comments already it's obvious that you can.) then you already have the judgement to produce good photos of your own. One simple key, made cheap by digital image files, is to take lots and lots and LOTS of photos of the same subject when possible, then work out why the best ones are the best ones. Share those, scrap the rest. Your tag also indicates your firm determination to improve, therefore you surely will.
Peace,
Mikel.
Psalm 1:3 "He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper."
Thank you very much Molly for your lovely comment on Moira! I really appreciate to hear that you like it!
And yes she did think that it was her pot... I had the hardest time convincing her otherwise... it took my sweater...
Kind regards Gabrielle

God's magnificent creation is full of beauty waiting to be captured - when you think you've seen it all, something you've never seen comes up and amazes you.
