Thanks Stan for your great comments on Drilling and In The Tree... i'm glad you liked them... The drilling image does look like the winding gear at a pit.. its a shame that they are closing the pits down, my dad used to work in the pits over there.. as for the tree.. the kids used to have a cubby house in there, lots of adventures went on... lol

Hey Stan, thanks for the comment on "dusk falls" ... It's peaceful in the pic, but wasn't for me... those ducks move pretty fast, so I was running down the riverbank trying to get a shot!

...and also thanks for the comments on one of my Macclesfield Forest photographs - it is well worth a visit - just head for Langley and follow the signs for Macclesfield Forest, park the car and follow the signs for Shutlingsloe - about 30-45 mins hike (uphill mostly but easy coming down lol!) :)
