Hi, Stan: Thanks for the comments on my "Maymont Serenity" photo. I'm not convinced that it's a "10" -- but I certainly appreciate your vote because it gave the c-index a much-needed boost! (PS: I never took a look before at the large version of your "Dog Tired" photo -- what a happy face Tasha has!) -Greg
Thanks, Stan, for looking at my gallery and leaving your kind words on 'Summer Blaze'. You are right....I do adore poppies. The ones in Summer Blaze are big ornamental Ladybird poppies, and their flowers are about the size of a cereal dish. But I do much prefer the more fragile field poppy for the simple beauty and delicacy...your picture said it all....thanks for visiting...Jacquie
Hi Stan, im glad you liked my stonehenge shot even if they hold no mystery ! (i have to say i was disappointed, i expected them to be on a huge big plain in the middle of nowhere, not jammed between two roads surrounded by fence and loads of tourists)! lol, i can imagine the stories you can tell from being on duty there... lol!! shame they have to stay secret!!! You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Hi Stan, thanks for stopping by to comment on "Foggy Morning", I am always so overwhelmed by how gracious people on this website are and I hope to post again soon. All the best, Kelcey.
I appreciate the kind one on "Hotel Glow" you can be married down there and i know they have had contests as such in the past. I got back home yesterday as this was just a mini trip. Hope your doing good my friend. sandi♥
Thanks, Stan, for you comment on "Boats In The Dock". I couldn't resist all the colours, shapes and lines or the air of general dilapidation. The bloke and The Transit was a bonus!
Good Morning Stan or early afternoon but anyway thanks so much for the fave on "Autumn Colors Out At The Lake" and " A Country Morning"
I'm reallly pleased you liked themt that much.

Good Morning Stan, Hey Thanks for commenting on "Blue Pond Blue" these people are the developers of this housing addition. She invited me inside their home and i must say wow! She told me that people have stopped and had picnics there not knowing it was priviate property. She said their glad to share it with others. That was so nice don't you think. sandi♥
Stan, thanks so much for commenting on "A Rustic Storefront" yes it is open for business. It was hard to get pics. down there in the town because of all the people.

Hi Stan.. Thanks a ton for the high marks on "From the banks of this River". You asked how I got that effect, but honestly I don't remember! It's an older pic. I probably used photoshop and did a few simple color overlays and used a few layers with differnt effects. You can always tweak a picture's hue and saturation or tone with certain programs. I like to use Microsoft Picture it vl. 9 and Photoshop 7.
Always start with a good photo!
Thanks again

Hi Stan!
What a lovely surprise to find you on my self-portrait...~here is me-me~!
the warm, kind words that you left were pleasant to read as well on this chilly winter night.
i hope this finds you well and everything OK in your corner of the world.
oh, and thanks for visiting the gallery. ~silent sentry~ is my most favorite image in my gallery..probably because it was so unexpected to find that little fawn curled up against the tombstone...we never know when a photo opportunity is going to be put in front of us!
Have a great rest of the week~~
