The ones in Summer Blaze are big ornamental Ladybird poppies, and their flowers are about the size of a cereal dish. But I do much prefer the more fragile field poppy for the simple beauty and delicacy...your picture said it all....thanks for visiting...Jacquie

Hi Stan.. Thanks a ton for the high marks on "From the banks of this River". You asked how I got that effect, but honestly I don't remember! It's an older pic. I probably used photoshop and did a few simple color overlays and used a few layers with differnt effects. You can always tweak a picture's hue and saturation or tone with certain programs. I like to use Microsoft Picture it vl. 9 and Photoshop 7.
