Thank you so much Matt for your kind words of my Sun Explosion photo. It means a lot to me when someone enjoys my photography. I used to live in Grapevine, Tx, but moved up here from Louisiana many years ago. Thanx again.( l love those poles in your photo!! I'm looking forward very much to seeing some more photos from you !!).Verena

Hello Matt...Many thanks for taking the time to have a look at (MARE & FOAL) and for your comments, they are very much appreciated...The picture was taken a while ago and I still see them when I go for a walk...Of course the little one is now a big boy...Thanks again...All the best...Mick
Thank you so much for your warm feedback to "winter lake". Your kind words are much appreciated. I usualy stick to color photography, but since there were some heavy snowfalls on that day that washed away all the colors I decided to take some B&W. I was surprised by the effect. In fact this photo is one of my favourites still so different from my other works. I am glad you found it of interest. Stay tuned.
Well, Hello again Matt. This depth of field, in this photograph, isn't the way I generally do my images. But when dealing with very low light and quickly moving animals one has to sacrifice something in order to get the image. In this case it was depth of field and not my hinny.
Thanks for visiting and come back anytime.
