Thanks for the very kind comment you left about "Blue Angel". The shot was interesting, because I got to explore a cemetery picking my favorite shots to get, and I had all the time in the world. Thanks again.
Thank you for your kind words about "Getting the Bigger Picture". To answer your question - No the photo is as it was. The location is the John Day Fossil Beds "Painted Hills National Monument Section". It was very early in the morning and the light was just right. The plant life was at its peak and there had been a rain the night before, so the colors were naturally enhanced. The area is a desert and about another three weeks the place will be quite barren.
hey Brandon! thanks for you comment on "jungle cruise". i know that these kind of shots don't interest too many people but i thought that i would put it in to make everyone feel the kid inside again! and if you didn't know......they changed the ride a little but kept all the funnies with the rhino and the men up the pole! lol
Hi again Brandon, the soft focus I was talking about was the standard filter in PaintShop - It softens areas, and gives a sort of glow around light & reflected light. The visibility of the "halo" and the softness of the image can all be customised. I haven't bothered to try selective soft focus yet, as the standard filter looks pretty decent most of the time. Hope this helps, M
Hey Brandon :) Thanks for commenting on Reflections. I would like to ask for your help on it, i'm not sure exactly what to do, so if you wouldn't mind, it would be much appreciated :) PS. Do you have AIM?

If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.
Hi, Brandon. A Dutch-Angle, atleast I think, is a term used in movie production when the camera is tilted one way or the other...usually at a right angle....used for effect or dramatic impact. I could be wrong....but you did a great job on your photo.

Thank you Brandon for your comments on "gargoyle". The original was a silvery gray in color with flat painted eyes and no imperfections. appreciate you taking a look.
Brandon You would not believe all of the beautiful images that can be made in Washington. Thanks for your very nice comments on "Here Comes the Big One". They really are appreciated."
Hey Brandon! Thanks for the comment on "Planetary Fern". The crop did the image wonders. Sometimes it is amazing what cropping will do to add interest to a shot;-)
Hi Brandon. Thanks for the comments on "The Massif". No editing of the image, the lighting is everything. It's part of the magic of the Painted Hills. They reveal themselves in very different moods depending all on the light. I'm very glad you enjoy it.
Thanks Brandon! I'm glad that you found my Playground Climber interesting. Thanks for your nice comments. I was just trying out my new camera and its features.

Thanks a lot for your nice comment on "dead beauty!" :)
I must say most of the time I just pass dead leaves like, "who cares" but when I took the time to take this picture the wonderful colors and the leaf's old crinkled personality came out and I realized how wonderful even beautiful old leaves can be! :)
Hey there! It was so nice of you to make such a good comment about my ghost town keyhole pic...I wasnt sure about the frame, but somehow I felt it fit that photo...both look old...and I appreciate yoru words..thank you sooooooooo much!!
