Thanks for the warm and kind words on ~gentle~ Pat!. No new camera. I used Hubby's Pentax K110D with his 50-200 lens. Shooting and working on DOF.
I have a bottom end computer (after my good one crashed big-time) & it will not support PS and it doesn't have much memory, so I can't do any real editing on my images!

Thanks, Pat, for your kind words on "Oak Savannah" and the invitation to enjoy some of that warm Louisiana weather. We had a touch of spring today. The sun shone for a while this morning and the temperature climbed up into the low 60s. After all of the terrible recent weather in the southeast, I'm not complaining.
Hello Pat...Your comments on (HIGHLAND BULL ENCOUNTER) are very much appreciated....All day it had been overcast and as I arrived on location streams of sunlight started to break through,of course I used this sunlight to my advantage in this image....Thankyou again...All the very best to you Pat...........Mick.

Thanks Pat for drooling over the ham you caught me napping and hadn't finished the write up so here it is.
I never had country ham before. They don't even keep it cool and is laying out on a shelf tightly wrapped to keep the air out. It was on sale since I cannot resist a sale I thought I try it at least once.. It was as salty as the great Salt Lake with a really strong flavor, maybe it's an acquired taste but don't think I am going to develop a liking for country ham in this lifetime. The only way I think it may be eatable is if cut into tiny pieces and eaten with lots of side dishes. From now on I am going to stick with my favorite Honey Glazed Spiral sliced Ham
Hi Pat thanks for commenting on the Ringed Teal he is a pretty duck hey. When I took the shot it was a little underexposed so I ran it through PhotoFiltre. Have a good week ... Phil
Hello Pat....Thankyou so much for your kind comments on (HEADS UP)they are as you know very much appreciated...The problem is Pat, I can't whinny/neigh like a horse,if I could, can you imagine what the people around would have thought of me...To get this shot the owner stood behind me and rustled a paper bag....The daughter was over the moon with the photograph.....Thankyou again.....All the very best to you Pat.................Mick.

Hi Pat...yep, we did sneak away for 8 days! *whew*.....lots of snow in Co and WY in the higher elevations..30-40 feet. Medicine Bow closed completely...Trail Ridge Road in RMNP only open for about 11 miles of the 48...
IT was still neat :)
Glad you were able to join me for a moment of the trip!
Thanks, Pat, for your very kind words on "Thunder in the Apple Orchard." And thanks for adding it to your favorites. I appreciate it. Have a great weekend!
Thank you for your glowing review of 750 Islands Pat! It's hard to take a bad picture in a warm tropical paradise with pristine white sand beaches, crystalline blue waters, tropical flowers the colors of jewels, filling the balmy air with exotic perfume. . I've been to 8 of the 750 in the Bahamas. I am glad my goal isn't to visit all of them. I'd die of old age before I could finish...smile!

Pike's Peak on a motorcycle must have been quite the thrill! It really is gorgeous scenery around there. Thanks for stopping by, Pat... I appreciated your comment :) Jeff
Hi Pat. Been a long time! I'm glad you thought my posting Lightpools worthy of keeping. Sorry I've not replied earlier, but we have been touring extensively and I can't get internet connections a lot of the time, as we love remote areas. We are here and there until the end of October, then I shall spend most of the winter processing the thousands of photos I've taken. You taake care. Barry

Hey Pat, thanks for Moldy Oldie. Sorry to hear about your eye problem, hope it's better soon. I have had two vitrous detachments (one in each eye). Dr. says it will clear up but it's been over a year and no change. In bright light it's like looking through cobwebs but I learned to focus through it. Bugs me most on the computer. Old age isn't what it's cracked up to be. Whoever said it's the "Golden Years" should be kicked in the groin and urinated upon.

Hi Pat. Not ignoring you, just getting ready to go touring for a couple of months so I've been busy. I'm sorry to hear about your cataract op. Hope they brought a little light into your life. Take good care. Barry.
