Hey Paul, thank you for your compliments on my photo Bracebridge 6 • rework •. I'm greatful for your suggestion on cropping the original image. The idea rang true and I immediately made the change. Great feedback. Thanks!
Reflection of Pan is a statue of a mythical young Pan running with a fish in his hand. I'm not sure if he has a tail but he does appear to be nude. The statue was weathered and I thought that this angle was more interesting. Thanks for your comments and support. I'm glad that you like it.

I tooks a series of photographs of this sunset and Macon Sunset 24 was the peak moment when the colors were most intense. 30 minutes earlier there weren't very many clouds and it appeared to be a bland sunset. Wow what a surprise when these coluds came in. Thanks for your support and comments. I wish all my friends at Caedes could have been there to see it. I'm glad I could share it with you.

Dandelion 4 was taken near sunset with a dark tree line as the background. The green glow would be the sun filtering through the trees. I used a flash to highlight the dandelion and to stop blurring from the wind. Thanks Paul for the nice comments and I'm glad that you enjoy it.

Thanks Paul, for the compliment on "Smith Falls." Being there was a tremendous experience. I took a close up of the main falls and was setting it up thru the view finder when I saw the first salmon jump - WOW! Just like National Geographic. Of course I then tried to get a shot, but no more jumped until I was just packing up to leave! Still, I came away with good memories and the photo... Steve
Paul, thanks for your kind comments on Canyon Light. I'm glad this brought back some good memories for you. The Canyon is not a place one easily forgets!
Pussy Willow 4 shows some of the furry buds just emerging. I love this series of photos And this second photo shoot came out as nice as the first. Thanks for viewing and supporting this image with your nice comments. I'm glad to provide my friends at Caedes with these images.

Thanks for your comments on my flowrs pics today! Funny you should mention the calendar, I am seriously thinking about using these plus various other flower photos to make one at the end of the year.
Thanks for the comments on "Praying For Spring" Paul. I'm pleased you liked it.
Bad artists always admire each other’s work. They call it being large-minded and free from prejudice. But a truly great artist cannot conceive of life being shown, or beauty fashioned, under any conditions other than those he has selected.

Hi Paul, thanks for sharing your thoughts on "Flirtation" with me! It is always nice to hear from people, to read their happy words! Your work is so great, that I am very flattered indeed that you would stop by for a visit! Sincerely, Marilyn
Hello Paul, Thank you for your thoughts and comments about “Swansea”. I agree it does look like a painting. The borders are a way of getting an image onto Caedes without cropping the ends off so it doesn’t spoil the proportions and composition. Its always a pleasure to read your comments, I find them interesting.
Hi Paul, thanks for looking round my Gallery. i agree with you about "Gate" its one of my favourites too. i think my favourite of your photos is "garden colours (1)" i like all your pics they all have really good colour.
Hello Paul. I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed "Found Among The Reeds", my moth macro. I was hoping the matt would give it some impact, because although I was thrilled to get the shot, I didn't think it was strong enough on its own. Thanks.
Hello Paul, I'm glad you like "Winters Last Gasp" and I appreciate your comments.
...one of the strongest motives that lead men to art and science is escape from everyday life with its painful crudity and hopeless dreariness, from the fetters of one's own ever-shifting desires. Paul;
Thank you for stopping by and looking at my Morning Light and Watercress. There was only one thing better than your comment. That was being there and seeing it in person.

Dank u zeer, I hope that this is correct. I am so pleased that you enjoy my Slot Canton photograhs.
Thanks for your most kind words about my Antelope Canyon image. I sometimes feel that I am a bit long with my descriptions. I hope that this is not a turn off.

Hello Paul! The Clearwater Pier 2 image was screaming for me to capture it. The two teenage girls seemed to add a nice point of focus along the sunbeam reflection. I'm glad that you like this image.

Thanks for your comment on my waterfall pic. It really is a power burst. I visited your photo collection too. Beautiful shots! Your colorful tulips are on my dekstop now!
H Paul;
I am pleased with your interest in my Antelope canyon series. You ask a very good question in my #4 image, When I photographed the canyon a few years ago there was a kind of restriction. By this I mean that you had to stop at a small cafe and register your car and get a permit to enter through an old fence with a broken gate about six miles down the road from the cafe. After entering a dry river bed you would have to drive another ten or fifteen minutes to get there. You were left on your own.
Now I guess things have changed. If you go to my Antelope Canyon #3 and find bayoubooges comment he has an update on the area. It is now controlled entry and tour buses will take you there . I guess this is good because since there are guides and restrictions of entry it will remain untouched by vandals, I hope.

Paul,
I would like to thank you so very much for all of the kind words that you left for me, and others, to read about my Antelope Canyon series. I am truly humbled by the way you followed the series to the end. I have often made the decision, to leave Caedes but the enthusiasm that you ( and others) show for my images has kept me here. This is my fourth or fifth series that I have posted. Although the responses have always been good, NONE has received the wonderful responses that Antelope Canyon has. This series had brought back many memories of Annie and my trek through this magical place. When I posted my last image and shut down the series, which was difficult to do, I felt that I had said goodbye to an old friend. With deep humility, and bowed head, Thank you so very much for your support.

Hi Paul, thank you so much for commenting on and liking "Red Roses on the Green". I really appreciate it! Please stop by for another visit! Sincerely, Marilyn
Thanks a lot Paul for your kind words on my animal images of the lynx and the owls and also on the glass art image (# 1) ! hope to show you some more typical Swedish wild animals later on, an elk perhaps. I´m glad to see you enjoy other pictures in my gallery too ! I can tell you that your own gallery is one of my favourite ones !! Thanks again ! -- Arne --
Thank you Paul for the great comments on "Tears of a Weeping Willow" -- after looking at your photos in your gallery, I am honored that you had such kind words for my photo! Sometimes I look at my photos so much, I lose perspective on whats good and whats not. Thanks again. Have a great day!!!!
Hi Paul, thank you so much for your nice and details comment on "Palm House 2"! You are of course right about the light, it was almost noon when I was there, but I just needed a break and go out after a morning of learning :-)
And I'm planning to go there again at other times to get different views and lights. As you wrote, there is so much in Vienna to take a picture of, when I have more time I will explore it all. BTW, when have you been in Vienna?
So, thanks again for your great feedback!
Hey Paul!! My dad's name is Paul; what a coincidence. Anyways I was writing back on the subject of Hugh the High ( I think that is the , name right??) But I was thinking what do you think about the name Zakory?? j/w or Zeke maybe... If you have any better suggestions, by all means tell me btu those were a few of my ideas!! Well Thanx for the comment and i LUV your gallery!! Bye !!

I assure you Paul that "Desert Sunrise" is on this earth. I'm really pleased you liked it.

Hi Paul,
thank you so much for your comments on some of my pictures! Especially on "Clematis", I rather liked it and was a bit disappointed that it did not so good. But well, tastes are different. ;-)
Your remark on the user information site was one of the nicest words I have received here! I'm feeling honoured that you like the shots so much, and that you took the time to criticise and point out possible improvements, I'm going to work on them. So thanks again for your feedback!
Thank you for the nice comment on Reflections 2.. I changed things a little and was there at a different time of day.. I go there every Friday with Mom and sometimes walk while she gets her hair done.. I will be taking more pictures of that area as the summer goes by.. I am hoping for some decent rain to bring the water levels up where they should be.. We are in our third year of drought..
Paul,
Thank you for your comments on Even in the Quietest Moments. It just goes to show that sometimes our mistakes turn out beter than the things we plan.
Thank you Paul for your great comments on Forest Green for fotobob...I have been very pleased with the results and comments on this one...this doesn't happen too often to me...using my husband's better camera was a big help...since you asked, here are a few of the particulars...camera a Nikon D100, Lens: 24-85m f/3.5-4.5 G , Focal Length: 24mm
Exposure Mode: Aperture Priority, Metering Mode: Multi-Pattern
20 sec - f/22...thanks again.:Pat.
Well, here I am again to thank you on Shimmering and aren't you the clever one...yes, it is indeed very close to the same spot as Anticipation and in fact had considered mentioning that in my description...thank you for the kind comments, high marks, and your suggestions are also greatly appreciated...I am trying to get used to finding my way around my husband's camera, when he lets me borrow it, lol.:Pat.
Thanks for the comments on "Florida heron". I was totally amazed I was able to get so close for the shot (I was not fishing) At first I thought this must be a statue (really) but then he shifted his stance. I must have taken 10 shots and he still did not move away.
And thanks again for posting at "wild columbine collaboration". Glad to be able to show you something different! I'd never seen this flower at the location before (and I go there often), so it must be just a spring blossom.
Thanks for your thoughtful feedback on "Psychosis," Paul! I may upload it without the frame as well. THANKS for taking a careful look and offering a suggestion!

Hi, Paul....I relish HELPFUL criticism and thank you for your comments on my work! I will keep in mind your comments about a "focal point." You spoke of your "Geestmerambacht." I grew up in a small town in Minnesota - - the "Valley of the Jolly Green Giant," to be precise. LOL! While I didn't grow up on a farm, I lived in farm Country and that photo really hits my memory bone. Looks like there's a lake on the horizon. Yep, a younger, more carefree time.

Thank you for the kind comments on "Glacier View." I must admit I didn't have much to do with how the picture came out. Mostly it was nature working it's magic, and an absolutely perfect day. The sky was completely clear blue except for the whispy white clouds as in the picture. And Mt. Baker is just a beautiful place. I agree with you that pictures like this make you remember those perfect days, or some perfect day similar to what the picture evokes. I'm glad you enjoyed the photo, and thanks for your comment!
Hi Paul! Thanks for the great comments on "The King" - he did have a majestic head - all that fluffy mane! Again, I always appreciate your input! Have a GREAT day!!!
Hi again!!! Thank you so much for your opinion on "Perfect Ending"! This is one of my favorite shots, the beautiful colors. Sunsets are such great photo opportunities -- nature in all it's splendor!!
Wow, Paul, thank you so very much for the amazing comments on "Four of a Kind" - so maybe I got a good shot here?? I will feel honored to have this photo in your favorites! Have a GREAT day!!!
Hello there, thank you so much for your comments on Lily of the Valley I am glad you liked the image, they really are lovely and the smell is heavenly.

Paul,
Thank you very much for stopping by and smelling the wild flowers in my , Springtime in the Rockies image. I really love the area around Crested Butte. Should you ever get to Colorado this is a must visit area. Someday when I find the time I will break out some mountain lakes images that I have above this beautiful little village.
I have taken your suggesstion to heart. I tried to lower the contrast on this image and it does improve the image. Thank you. I am headed to my cabin in the southwestern part of the state. When I return I may upload this image again as a rework.

Thank you so much for the fun comment on Split Personality.. I am so glad you liked it.. I love the photography, but the fractals fascinate me.. Thanks for the 10, too
Thanks again, for Summer Rental. Much appreciated.. I live in this odd little town and I find things in peoples yards when I walk the dog.. This is a yard decoration a few blocks where I live.. When this area was settled it was all forest and swamp.. Using uprooted tree stumps for yard decoration was fairly common.. I have seen them used as fences.. Someone had attached the bird houses and planted that tiny tree.. I just try to find the right angle for the subject and time of day.. Since I am so new at photography, I still have a lot to learn..
Hi Paul... thanks for your lovely comment on Broken.... im glad you liked it... very nice poem you wrote there.. :D .... you may see more of these.. think i have done 3 in the i guess "series"..For My Valentine (without the Lady)... and Floating Through Time... I did have Waiting too.. but that has been taken off...

Hello Paul, hope you will forgive me, but this message is pretty well canned and much the same for everyone who responded to my image “As The Seasons Change". I’m stuck in a very tight schedule at work and have been putting in as many as 35 hrs overtime each week for going on a month now. Even though this is a generic thank you, it doesn’t mean that I don’t appreciate each comment, it’s just that I have very limited time and not enough of it to respond individually. For all that asked particular questions, I will try to leave an answer at the end of this post. For those who left comments some time ago, please accept my apology for being so late in responding.
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR CONTINUING SUPPORT OF MY IMAGES .IT MEANS THE WORLD TO ME.
Thanks for the feedback on 'In The Spotlight', it's much appreciated! I just recently got a Nikon D70 and am still in the process of trying to learn the gazillion features of this camera. Right now, I'm doing as you suggested and playing with different settings, but there is so much to still learn. Again...many thanks for your input and suggestions!
Hi Paul... thanks for your lovely comment on Sea Of Colour... im very glad you like it... I have this printed out, framed it and its now in one of my rooms... :D
