Thanks, Paul, for taking time to comment at "Slate Hill Farm". The day was beautiful and the flowers all in bloom. A perfect day, you would have enjoyed the shoot.

Hi Paul, thanks for your comments on Biddulph Grange. Unbelieveable that those beautiful trees were cut down, but at least now they have been replaced and will look stunning again in the future!

And yes, Malaysia has a lot of nice places to visit. If I'm not mistaken, this mountain is part of the rain forest preserve in Malaysia called Taman Negara.

Hey Paul, thanks for the comment on my photo "hello, me again" I did not expect such a high c-index on that one, but I will take it. Glad it made it to your desktop, and I would love to publish a bird book someday. Have a great day.
Hello Paul....Many thanks for your comments on (HILLS OF SCOTLAND)they are very much appreciated....Most of Scotland was forest up to the industrial revolution...the demand for cheap newspaper saw the demise of most Scottish forests...it is also said that the deer and sheep did damage causing the trees not to regenerate....Thankyou again Paul......Mick.

Thank you Paul for the comment on "Amanita muscaria",it is really appreciated. You are right,it is unusual to find this kind of mushroom in the grass,it must also be unusual to find in dunes,in sand.I have seen this kind of mushroom in forests or woods but not elsewhere.

Dank je wel Paul voor je commentaar op mijn foto "cold sheep". Als je dit soort mooie foto's ziet dan wens je inderdaad dat alles er weer zo uit zou zien. Maar toch heb ik eerst wel weer zin in de lente en zomer.

Hi Paul
Thanks for the comments on my squirrel picture “It’s My Nutt” I think this was shot with the 5D1 in 2007. The 5D1 is still going strong with 30,000 pics on it, hope the Mark II is that reliable.

"Go High" have a low score,it's true,it's the reason i don't post my works that much here...Caedes it's more about photography and less about Photoshop and manipulation!
Howdy Paul. I always go back to an image I think might be good enough to ripped off and edit that warning into the commentary. It is not meant for Caedes members. It is meant for visiting folks. Glad you liked it. It is one of my favorites also.

Hi Paul...I want thank you for taking the time to visit the front page article! I am still quite stunned and very humbled by it. I love this site and feel privileged to be a tiny part of such a very large world wide website.
I thoroughly enjoy helping people and if I solve one problem or make one person's day easier, then for me, it is a great day.
You have always been there as a shining example of a great photographer and I admire your skills Paul. Thank you for setting the bar high and being such a great cheerleader.
each and every of your images are stared at by me even if I don't leave a comment. I have very few on my friends list, but you are still there and I am proud to call you my friend :~)
Thank you friend!
"In december I will be in Florida and I will surely visit Kennedy space center again. My son just can't wait. He is really into rockets right now.
Thanks for posting!"
'We' will be waiting with bated monitors, Paul ... for the accompanying images from you.
And it sounds like the trip of a lifetime for your son. :o)
Thanks for taking the time to view and comment on "Special Days ... and Nights", it is appreciated by both Phil and myself.

Hey Paul, glad you liked my "Cone Head" photo. I did not post it before cause I thought the pointed head on the Cardinal was something I did wrong with the camera. Oh well, some of our best work ends up in the trash bin.
Thanks for kind comments on "Double Delight". I have literally hundreds of hummer pix, but since I live in the Mid-West US I only get the Rubythroat variety and mostly female at that.
I'll start posting my better work when I get my images registered with the US copyright office so that I'll have some legal recourse if I see someone using my pix without my permission. The old double edged sword, I'd love to post more, but as soon as the image is posted anyone around the world can copy and claim them as their own.
Thanks so much for taking time to drop by and leave such kind, warm words on 9-11, The Tragedy. That moment in time changed the world I live in forever as well as train gos many lives of innocent people as well as though who tried to save them. Having a son who is a firefighter/paramedic as well as a son who is a police officer, this tragedy hit home even more. Both brotherhoods were deeply affected by the mass number of fellow firefighter/policeman lost and posting a simple rise image was quite humbling to me.
I am glad that you were able to visit. I have enjoyed your playful images, your serious images but most importantly,y our beautiful images that you post. My commenting is down. our summer has been action packed.....we have stayed so very busy that I spend little time at the keyboard :-)
That might change as winter approaches the Northern hemisphere!
take good care, give your family lots of hugs and love!

You asked, "Can cypress trees grow in water?" You bet'cha! That's where they grow naturally-in water. Their roots spring up on the shore and are called cypress "knees". Thks for the nice comments.
Paul this past Sunday it was rainy and cold here and I went though this persons favorites of 135 pages to be exact and they had a lot of your work saved. I wanted to leave more comments than I did but was afraid of loading you down with too many. In fact I left over 700 comments that day:))
Hello Paul....Many thanks for your very kind comments on (ROBIN REDBREAST)they are very much appreciated....Because he was bobbing around so much it took me a while to capture this shot of him....Thankyou again Paul.............All the best to you.................................................Mick.
Hello Paul....Many thanks for taking the time to have a look at (ATLANTIC WAVE)and for your comment,it is as you know very much appreciated...I used my 18-200lens to capture this wave from a good distance....Patience and timing was critical in capturing the wave hitting the pier at that right moment....Thankyou again.....All the best to you Paul.......................Mick.

I don't think so, Paul. You would have died of laughter and you have so much to live for yet. It was a complete comedy. Thks for commenting.
Hello Paul........Many thanks for taking the time to view(STEAM UP)and for your comments it is very much appreciated....Their is a hill that leads up to the station and I would like very much to go back and photograph the locomotive pulling carriages up that hill, I am sure I will be able to capture a few stunning shots.......Thankyou again....All the very best to you Paul..............Mick.
Hello Paul....Your comments on (ARCHES) are so very much appreciated.......Being in the right place at the right time gave me the opportunity to capture the rainbow.....Thankyou again....All the very best to you Paul.................Mick.
Canon 100-400mm lens. Yes, it has that "pumping action" as you describe it for setting the telephoto distance. I call it push/pull. I don't like it one bit and would much prefer the twist a ring to set telephoto. I suspect canon will come out with an update to that lens before two much longer. As far as quality-it produces. Thks for stopping by,Paul.
Hello Paul....Thankyou so much for taking the time to view (WHITEWATER)and for your comments,as you know it is very much appreciated......The noise of the sea crashing against the pier was something else to experience....Thankyou again...All the very best to you Paul...........Mick.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . .
