Hi Phil,
Thanks for all your comments. Actually, Sandusky Bay is not considered a part of Lake Erie. My picture...Private...was taken to the very western end of Sandusky bay. Click here. There is so much water around here, I may have been at the very end of the Sandusky River..it empties into the bay.

Thanks for your comments on "open at the fountain". I'm not sure I could have omitted any of the store fronts around the fountain as it is totally surrounded. I did the best I could. This was taken on an overcast day, so that probably explains the lack of color. Thanks for your input
